A new screen on my Vado display

My LBS said they wanted to update the firmware on my 2020 Vado 4 battery. Now when I plug the charger into the bike (with the bike turned off), the lights flash and then this screen pops up. No big deal, but is definitely different from before, when the display screen didn't have any info during charging.

The new battery firmware is 9.3.4.

Again, no biggie. Just sharing something new.

I like that! Nice to see charging progress, I have to turn my bike on to see % charged and then it times out, so to check I have to turn it on again.

I guess it's all about the firmware. Our V5s have had a charge status display since they were new. One of the firmware updates changed it a bit; it now takes maybe 5 sec for the dispaly to come up but it's still on the entire time the bike is being charged.

That's funny. You don't know what you don't have. Before this update, the only indication that the bike was charging were the green flashing lights on the frame and the light on the charger. I assumed all Vado's were like that. Good to know. I'll be honest. At first I thought the bike was broken. It's good to hear that I've joined up with everyone else!
