606 error code

I have a Superdelite and I am wondering if anyone gets a 606 error code when trying to run on only the top tube battery? Down tube battery does not throw any error codes.

While you should be able to run just the top battery, it's not ideal as the lower battery is recognized by the system as being the "primary" battery.

I agree with your response knowing that the down tube battery also lowers the center of gravity but it shouldn't throw a 606 code. The top tube battery will charge out of the bike so I don't think it is that.

606 Errors have been historically difficult for our shop to isolate as they don't tend to be a repeated issue on our bikes after clearing the error in the diagnostic and reloading the bike's firmware.

I wonder if there will be less of them with the new Smart Systems CAN FD bus.

Well my lbs still has my Superdelite (3 weeks) and they have been in contact with Bosch who recommend and sent a replacement top tube wiring harness but that still throws the 606 error code. Now back to Bosch again!
