I have a bike with rear suspension, I need to replace the shock absorber. I have measured various lengths and diameters. However, I'm not sure about the strength, it is marked "550" which I think is 550 lbs/in of travel. I've seen somewhere else that this is rather low. Any idea what it should be? The bike is quite light and I'm about 70Kg. I'm unlikely to go over a drop higher than a metre.
