Ha! Latecomer to Bionx here!
Can someone fast track me (a 61 year old ex- software and systems engineer) on how
to do tech level system work on the Bionx system using the CAN Bus interface, please?
Just getting me pointed in the right direction will be great.
Is there a manual? Is there an aftermarket write-up?
I have bought a CAN bus system for maintaining my Yuba eMundo bike.
I have not hooked it up yet not wanting to glitch the system...
My first job is to replace the G2 controller with a better spare. It appear to not
accept this unit- as if I mount it, it responds until I hit the + button, then it shuts down.
Its condition is unknown, so it is possible it is broken. But I'm assuming I have pair the
new G2 with the system (A security feature that you can't steel a bike minus the controller and
buy a replacement on ebay?)
Later I have new motor to install as if the current original motor- when asked for max
acceleration- something grabs inside and makes a lot of noise.
I figure it is wobbling and when torqued the magnets are hitting the case.
Thanks in advance for help!
