And yes, you will get more top end power & speed at full charge if you get the 52V.
As you can see, 52V is 58.8V at full charge and 48V is 54.6V.
However, 48V will (likely) have less voltage sag at the same voltage because more cells are in parallel.
I'm not an engineer, I have never compared this side by side in the lab, this is all theory, just so you know.
For example, let's say your current voltage is 54.6V.
That's 100% for 48V battery and 75% for 52V battery.
So you will get better performance out of 52V for the first 25% (100% to 75%), but after that, 48V battery will have advantage because of less voltage sag.
