Addmotor 26 fat tire throttle trouble

Hi,

Im trying to fix a 26“fat tire bike and need some advice.
The owner of the bike cut the wires to the throttle control because he said “it ran away on him. the motor was on full power”.
My thought was to replace the throttle control so I tried numerous times to contact addmotor and have learned that they seem to know less about the bike than myself. I was able to find out that I couldn’t buy a replacement throttle control. They don’t have them for their bike. I purchased a WUXING Electric Bicycle Thumb Throttle, FT-21X Finger Throttle Accelerator off of Amazon but I ca get it to work. a feedback review from another who purchased this from Amazon stated that the color code on the 3 leads don’t match up to the bike and said he had to try different combinations until he found the correct pairing. I’ve tried and am still u able to get it to work.
is there anyone who can help me remedy this problem?

C' mon didn't you first strip , reconnect and tape three cut little wires?
Or splice new wires if 'the fixer' cut twice?

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say. Fixer? Twice?

I did reattach he original throttle. Won’t work. I did notice that the motor started up by pedaling but it stopped doing that also.
