I have 2 RCS Juiced bikes a 2021 and 2023 modle. My new bikes torque/cadence sensor no longer functions. Also my throttle operates without the display being turned on. I will add that when I turn on the display and then turn off the display I have to recycle the battery off and on before the display will come bake on. I contacted Juiced support explained the problems with the bike and they decided the controller was bad and sent me a new one under warranty. After installing the new controller the issues remained. Thinking it maybe a bad connection between the display and controller I disconnected and reconnected the display to no avail. I then disconnected and reconnected the 1-4 short cabling to the controller. At that point the throttle went up in smoke and the 1-4 cabling was very hot. The display now has error 30 no connectivity with the controller and obviously the throttle is toast. At this point I reconnected my old controller hoping to see the error 30 go away but NO JOY. At this point I figured only thing between controller and display is the 1-4 cabling
so I would just swap out the cable from my other bike. I guess Juiced decided to use a different cable on the newer modle because the connectors are different as well as the pin arrangement. If you go to Juiced site for parts
there is only the old style cable.
If anyone out there have a 2023 brushed Aluminum RCS or any other color for that matter
know anything about the cabling or ideas with the bikes issues. New and old cabling
