2013 Stromer ST1 Elite.

Hello all,

Newbie here looking at a 2013 Stromer ST1 Elite. Will be going to check it out soon. This will be my first e bike. Looking for some advise on what to look for. Should I be concern about battery life given this is 6 yrs old. How do I know without putting 10-16 miles on the bike how good the battery is? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to this site. The battery is the most expensive part of the bike and they don’t have a very long life. I’ll bet that the battery has been replaced At least once. Depending on the battery, most cost at least $300. and possibly upwards of $800.. Not only that, the bike is 7 years old, and is an old bike. E-Bikes improve every year. Depending on what you’re looking to spend, you could buy a new decent bike for $ 1,000. Good luck
