LOL and I hate spell check as well! I would love to have my e-bike have a peddle assist 100 mile range with at least a 40 mile throttle as well. Since I live a mile away from work, this means I would charge it once a month!! That would be sweet! Good luck finding the bike!
I agree about renting if possible from a local shop, if they let you. My shop where I live, they don't rent them out. But I did my home work and got to do a test ride before the final purchase. Buy one to fit you pacific needs. The e-bikes are like cars/trucks. They have already gotten expensive...
I heard about the Sonders e-bike as well. A decent bike but it's a little pricey. But hey, if you can afford it and that's what you like, then go for it. I like I bought recently ( Pedecotech 400 ) and I plan to keep this bike for a very long time.
I'm enjoying the new ride. It was with in my budget and we all find the negatives about any e-bike. This model will work for me for a long time. The next thing to get is lights for safety reasons. Getting a good helmet, shoes and riding apparel.
