Let's see your best pic of your electric bicycle

Some nice looking bikes & rides here, these days. I'm getting back on my rover after an old elbow injury kept me from putting weight on my arm. Put a riser and adjustable stem on the rover for an upright ride. Put my old brooks b 67 for a relaxed sitting position. With the weight off my arm I'm...

    Pictures of an E-Bike Adventure

Enjoyed bringing in the year with a brisk ride before a week of rain storms. Still feeling like a kid zipping along these mendocino county hills. Crossed over the 1000 mile mark on my radrover. Anyone else enjoy a ride for the first day of 2017? Happy E-bike New Year to all you riders, david

    Thumb Throttle Attachment

I agree with your assessment, toynut! Was considering that model at first, but I have two bikes, my partners and mine. These cheap ones take a couple weeks to arrive, but you can get 4 of them for the price of one of those. My experience over the past week is that the cheap version is quite...

    Insurance worth the cost?

While I assumed as much regarding coverage & deductibles, I'm glad to read this. I have USAA, also. Bikes u-locked at home, along with two old ferocious little cocker spaniels for security :)

    Thumb Throttle Attachment

I'm really liking this little throttle attachment. Works well for my using the throttle to accelerate the rover, then pas to maintain speed. Did require cutting off a bit, but no problem with a saw and file to smooth out. Bought the 4 pack for my 2 rovers, and a couple spares. Took about 2 weeks...

    Pictures of an E-Bike Adventure

Makes me happy seeing all the places y'all are taking ebike adventures. Someday I'll put a motor on my nice mtn bike and spend some quality time on single track. The rover likes roads and packed trails. Here's me going down the river road enjoying today in freedom!

    It's Winter !!! What Now ?

I've had a go pro about 4 years. The old model still works fine for my occasional use. I'm sure the newer models have improvements. Also, there are other companies such as sony with action cams. It can be fun to share adventures. I'd do it more often if I did tricks, like the guys at the skate...

Netherlands sells more ebike than old school

Through much work & advocacy citizens slowly received support of politicians which resulted in infrastructures & laws that we are now able to enjoy. Thanks to all the cyclists, with our without motors, who are advocating for improved biking conditions with your words & actions. Wishing everyone...

    It's Winter !!! What Now ?

If I had snow nearby, my radrover would be on it! The fat snow tires are perfect. Would try & stay where it's packed & solid, rather that deep, soft & wet. Happy roving :)

Netherlands sells more ebike than old school

Revealing maps! And honestly, it doesn't fully convey the friendly bike atmosphere one experiences in places like Amsterdam or Copenhagen. Hope you'll get to have a first hand experience sometime soon. The videos above offer a little flavor. Also, there have been numerous discussions within...

Is it okay to park an e-bike outdoors in rain during work day?

Good points, above, regarding precautions for electric parts & connections & wiping it down. Some of the less expensive bikes have mechanical parts which are more prone to rust. Others on this forum use products to insulate connections and metal parts, such as dielectric grease and...

    Pictures of an E-Bike Adventure

On this busiest travel day of the year (in the USA), I'm grateful for a little pedal assist going into beauty, far up country roads & trails. Where did you get out to cycle? Wishing all joyful pedaling on this holiday :)

Netherlands sells more ebike than old school

While I was used to wearing a helmet before living in Holland, I did get used to riding around without one like 99% of locals. You do see those riding nice road bikes and wearing lycra wearing helmets, usually out in the countrysides. Safe infrastructure, mostly flat terrain, but another...

Netherlands sells more ebike than old school

Biking sure is safer in the Netherlands, based on my two years living in Amsterdam. I kind of wonder, since I left 6 years ago, how the cycling experience might be effected from having the new ebikes on the fietspad (bike paths). I'm sure most are still out enjoying their pedaling. Here's a...

    Great battery check & discharge

Would be nice to have one nearby to borrow. For now I'll just keep riding until there's no more bars. :)

Looking forward to the throttle's arrival. Curious about the tool used for trimming; a hacksaw, angle grinder...? thanks

Reflective Vinyl Wrap: Colour Matching a Battery

Thought about wrapping vinyl around my battery for the same reason. Opted for spray painting it white. Taped over the openings and connector. Couple of light coats & now it looks custom for the bike's white frame. :)

    Thumb Throttle Attachment

I'll have to get one for myself as my zip tie solution is less than ideal. Fun & practical to use the throttle for acceleration on the rad :)
