Isn't a 28mph Bosch the drive we really want?

Just have a good mechanic for that optibike. ;)

That said, I do love me some Bionx d-series.

Isn't a 28mph Bosch the drive we really want?

Actually, though it was fun, the Spitzing was a little too ostentatious. I know it's crazy, but I even found the ST2 to be the better climber. Lots of vibration and noise in the Spitzing. I liked the M1 Xion and Neon motors too. Those are fantastic. Looking forward to trying the impulse II...

Nope! I still made contact. Better off with a top bag.

Yeah, I think the matte looks better in a "two men enter, one man leaves" kind of way.

The latest stuff has been matte black though you might still get a glossy black by contacting E-joe. They might be able to get something out to your nearest dealer.

    Bionx for serious MTB.

Considering that hard riding can break frames/welding etc. this is always going to be a concern. I think FS is certainly a larger risk than hard tail and the rear motor would throw off the suspension dynamics (but by how much? Geared Dapu motors used on the Jumper aren't a big deal). I think...

I saw that, Ravi! Looks sweet! And while I'm sure the D-Series is going to be great (50NM peak torque...drool), I'm still curious as to how the current models do on tough trails...

    Stomer ST2 teaser splash page

Very cool. And 87 miles is fantastic. If you got it on Friday, then the battery would still be fleshing out. I would expect better distances than this in the future. Pics please! Perhaps some of your ST2 overtaking your horse?

No problems folding, even with the rack! It comes with a front headlight that's pretty cheap. I would probably get something better...

Do you get more exercise riding an electric bike?

My ebike replaced my car. Definitely getting more exercise than driving my car.

36 volt vs 48 volt electric bike batteries

If torque is the biggest factor, going with a mid-drive or geared motor should give you better results. Your speed would be determined by what type of controller you're using. Check endless-sphere forums to figure out what type of configurations would be best for you.

I think the SE still comes with the larger battery (9 amp hour). Lots of owners with this one keep it in their trunks.

    2014 Path+

http://electricbikereview.com/izip/e3-path-plus/ I have to say, this bike was a big surprise for me. Very smooth, very quite, definitely a must-try for anyone looking in this price point.

    Mirrors

If you angle the mirror so that it's underneath the handlebars, so that you'll be looking below your hands, it makes the bike look quite cool.

    Mirrors

For six years I didn't use a mirror on a bike because I though they were a little tacky. After a recent close-call I put one on my bike: https://www.mirrycle.com After using it for the last three months, I've reached the conclusion that, other than lights and a helmet, its the single most...
