I have a new-to-me BPM R-750 trike. The model is 750 and the literature says its a 750 watt motor. My controller is rated at 500 watts. I don't see any markings on the motor itself. So do I have a 750 watt motor or a 500 watt motor? Cheers.

Are you thinking that the voltage from the controller is too low? Are the values you mentioned a minimum? New controller is on its way. So is a new display. Like I said, I like spare parts. It will take some time to get the parts from Amazon but I will update you after I install the new one. Cheers!

The brake icon is not on and does not come on when pulling the brake levers.

I have 54.5 volts at the output terminals. When I install the battery, the display comes on. The battery icon on the first screen is empty. The voltage reading on the 3rd screen reads 54.5 volts.
