Hi, Saw your post re a buying a used SL. Owned my Vado SL from new, purchased from Specialized in Newbury in Jan 24. Just bought a Creo 2 Comp as going Carbon and don't like the Vado SL2, so converting the Creo to Flatbar and selling my Vado. I was looking at listing around £1,000 but would be...

    Creo 2 Remote Buttons

Looking at going Flat Bar on a Creo 2 and have a question about changing the two remote TCU buttons with the 'rocker' type remote that comes on the Vado - I think its the Specialized Trail Remote 2 S216800019 Would this be compatible with the Creo 2 TCU ? Thanks

    Creo Wiring Harness - Lights

Do anyone know if the Creo 2 Comp wiring harness has (unused) connections for integrated lights similar to those on the Vado SL - Lezyne lights. I found that the Creo SL had the potential for fitting a cable splitter - is the same part compatible on the Creo 2 Comp ? Thanks

    Creo 2 Flat Bar Conversion

Hi, Its a Creo 2 Comp Carbon that I am looking at, so does that change any of your suggestions ? Also is it correct that the Creo 2 Comp uses DOT brake fluid rather than Mineral Oil and does this mean changing levers, lines and calipers ?

    Creo 2 Flat Bar Conversion

Not yet purchased, so a bit premature !!! I just want to be clear about what I am taking on before making a decision.

    Creo 2 Flat Bar Conversion

Sorry to have created any friction with my original post. I was just hoping for some technical support on the potential conversion. Like others I would just like a bike that is suited to me, and if that means going away from the original design concepts then so be it. If anyone does have any...

    Creo 2 Flat Bar Conversion

Hi, would you be able to share a few more details and specs, particularly around AXS shift pod ? Also I assume the F1/F2 bips and dropper are shifter related - again would you have some more detail on exactly what you did and what parts are needed ? Thanks

    Creo 2 Flat Bar Conversion

Thanks for all the responses - very much appreciated. Ideally I would like to move up to a Vado SL 2 carbon but I totally dislike the styling. I think Specialized ruined a really good design when then went from Vado SL 1 to 2. Having the Seat Stay half way down the Top Tube looks like a gimmick...

    Creo 2 Flat Bar Conversion

Looking at getting a Creo 2 but then undertaking Flat Bar conversion. Anyone able to advise on the relevant Part Nos for the Vado SL Flat Bar, Grips, Levers ? Also is the fact that Creo has electronic gear change mean that this isn't feasible or is there a solution ? Also any other tips or...

Vado SL RE Battery - how new is new?

Just bought a "new" RE battery from my local Specialized Concept store. When I got home I realised the packaging said Production Date 16 Jan 2023 ? Thats nearly two and a half years old. I am planning on returning it. Any views ?

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I would like to just add some more 'give' to the front (not rear) of my Vado SL 4.0. Are there any after market solutions similar to the seat post solution or is it a new set of front forks (which I think will spoil the bike) ?

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

I'm interested in seeing a table comparing weight and ranges for SL 4.0 EQ, SL2 4.0 EQ (alloy), SL2 6.0 EQ Carbon and the Trek FX+7. Has anyone seen anything or have any links ?

How to turn off Specialized Turbo Vado SL EQ Lights?

No, its not waterproof but happy with its location, etc. I could have bought a waterproof version but they are slightly larger, so wouldn't have fitted as neatly into the existing bracket. Re the tails, there is a short length of 4 core micro cable (two front/two rear as the front and rear...

How to turn off Specialized Turbo Vado SL EQ Lights?

Vado SL - real world range

Just as a data point, 8kms at 100/100 on a flat route today used 23%, so assuming 90% battery availability then range of 31kms from the main battery.

Vado SL - real world range

Any views on real world range for a Vado SL 4.0EQ ? First real test today and only got 22 miles (35km) going from 100% to 12%. I admit it was a mix of mid and turbo with a few hills but mainly flat or slight incline. I will think about range extender but I just thought it would be a lot...
