    Raise bar height Tero X

I own a Turbo Tero X 5.0 too and I was experiencing soreness on my shoulders and neck because I was not used to the wide of the handlebar. But I never tried to change the handlebar or the headset. I chose instead to reinforce my upper body (arms, shoulders and back) with some weight lifting. And...

Using Heart rate with Mission Control, Smart Control

Forget Apple for this kind of need. Apple Watch are unable to connect on a Specialized bike or even the app. Tried to focus on watches that have ANT+ connectivity like Garmin watches. I have a Garmin Venu 3 and I was able to connect it on my Turbo Tero X.

Turbo Tero X - Steange behavior from the anti thief option

Hi everyone ! Today I rode my Turbo Tero X and everything was fine. After my ride, I parked my e-bike at my home, turned it off and didn’t remove the battery. After a while, I decided to put my e-bike in the garage so I moved it without powered it and the alarm went on. Normal behavior as I...

    Stromer ST1 vs ST2 in 2024

In the US, the ST1 motor has a power of 670W with a torque of 35NM and the ST2 had a power of 750W with a torque of 40NM but the gear range is better on the ST1 (398% vs 295%)

    Stromer ST1 vs ST2 in 2024

Pinion seems great. Cleaner than derailleur and sometimes an oil changing. You can change gears at stop but not under load. So a little bit less sporty than derailleur. Maybe the fact that you need to turn the shifter may be a little bit strange at the beginning. If you have the possibility...

    Cruise control

My comprehension about Cruise Control on the Stromer is a sort of recuperation mode that is allowing you maintaining a chosen speed on downhill. While the classic recup mode just slow you down depending on the amount you choose.

Hypotheticals - would you replace your R&M with another R&M??

Yes. It’s great that Switzerland had a good law for high speed e-bikes. That means this type of transportation is a real alternative to cars. We can use bike lanes but we need to cut the motor off on those who are forbidden for mopeds.

Tires recommandations for R&M Roadster Touring HS

Thanks @Stefan Mikes ! In my country the reflective strip is required. If the tires don’t have it, we need to put some orange reflective stuff on the wheel. Black reflective strip will be totally ok 👌🏻!

Hypotheticals - would you replace your R&M with another R&M??

Certainly yes but with another model. Maybe the Charger4 GT Rolhoff HS with the PowerMore. I tried a 2017 Stromer ST2 and it was a beast despite his weak condition (cracking bottom bracket, strange handlebar orientation, strange font fork behavior during braking). The Stromer I need for my daily...

Tires recommandations for R&M Roadster Touring HS

Hi there, Hope you're all doing well. I'm the owner of a R&M Roadster Touring HS (speed bike) and I'm looking for tires recommandations. The stock tires are Schwalbe G-One Allround (700x40c) with reflective side. Great tires but I needed to change them after just one year. My bike shop changed...

Spotted an older R&M in Switzerland

Lausanne want to be a big bike friendly city and a lot of things are made to promote the bike itself : Help with the purchase, make the city center less attractive for cars and the government that promotes soft mobility. Parents understood that they could save a lot of time by bringing their...

Spotted an older R&M in Switzerland

I’m a little bit late but I hope you enjoyed your stay in Switzerland and Lausanne. I’m from Switzerland and I work in Lausanne. I travelled three times in New Zealand and I love it. Each time it was time to flight back in Switzerland I cried. I suspect that the old R&M is a 2016’s Roadster

    I am a Turbo Tero X 5.0 owner

Oh, I forgot to share with you a little bug that I encountered with the Specialized App. One day, after several days not using my bike, I decided to take it for my daily commute. I started it and after a little while I realized that I no longer had any assistance. Nothing. I tried to remove...

    I am a Turbo Tero X 5.0 owner

I’m so used with the Supernova mini-Pro with it’s 1600 lumens that I’m now worried that the upgrade will not be enough. Well I will see and if needed I will add a rechargeable front light. Thanks for sharing this with me.

    I am a Turbo Tero X 5.0 owner

I’m from Switzerland, the French part 😀 Thanks Stefan for your input. The reason I want the HRM with my Turbo Tero X is for the possibility to adjust the assistance based on the HR. I tried yesterday to adjust the assistance on the HR but I never found the option in the Specialized App. Maybe...

    I am a Turbo Tero X 5.0 owner

Hello everyone ! At the end of October 2023, I bought the Turbo Tero X 5.0 in the Oak Green color (absolutely gorgeous color by the way). I wanted this kind of e-bike for my commute to work as my route is very hilly and mostly with very bad asphalt and a lot of potholes and bumps. I was used...

New from Europe and eBike's user since 2019

Hi everyone, I'm from Europe, Switzerland, and I'm new here. I'm a eBike's user since 2019. My most recent eBike is a Specialized Turbo Tero X 5.0 alongside my trusty commuter Riese & Müller Roadster Touring HS. I'm still recovering from a bad fall (in March) and a completely torn MCL that...
