i just used this.Slid it under the battery which pushed the clip down and pulled it out then finished the job with tweezers.

I had your problem a couple of years ago on my Vado SL 4 and Specialized replaced the whole motor after a complaint by my LBS. It arrived a week later and was fitted. Apparently Specialized then discovered it could be tightened up!🤣

Same here, also my primary transport. Can't see battery removal possible as it's quite a complicated procedure!

I live in North Wales and keep my Vado SL in a concrete detached garage. In winter the inside of the window has ice on it. I ride all year around. For three years the bike has survived unprotected. You can buy one of these if you so wish...

I have heard this from you previously so I tried adding an elastomer but it made it harsh again! I guess I ride more upright than you. So I reverted back to one. Much better. But that's why they make it adjustable.

So just getting back to topic. My charge limit doesn't seem to work anymore but I'm lucky enough to be retired so I just charge it up whilst having breakfast🙂
