Should not be any back to front movement, but you can rock it towards you, it’s good as long as the 9 lobes are locked behind the teeth,

If you have removed the rear wheel before it’s simple to remove the hub interface with a 17 socket, it’s not that tight, then you can see your sprocket

I installed the Schwalbe marathon plus tour 27.5x2.35 on my Vado, great tire not cheap, runs silent extra puncture protection, excellent grip, first thing I noticed very hard to lock rear wheel when braking, little hard to mount, I think they also are available in mtb

Agreed, the only.bike that is near the Vado would be the Zen Photon

We love having our 2 grandkids with us in the summer in our Rv (14-12) my grandson and I do bike rides and kayak trips. The experience cannot be replaced and only lasts awhile, but there is a lot of difference between doing it in our 70’s than our 30’s, good luck and God bless for what you’re doing

I’m a specialized idiot and loving it…. Don’t know about the op… I have 140mm cranks on my Vado, because of leg injuries I can only bend my leg 90 degrees, a must to keep my foot on, this has very little effect on the speed or cadence…. Hmmm maybe a specialized idiot is smarter than a normal idiot

My Vado 5.0 has been flawless, had it since 2022 for full price, if you could find it used one sold here for 2500 bucks, I had a Cube in 2019, had quality issues with mine , could not get anybody on the phone, LBS is very important to me
