The Aurora Limited SL is an Aurora Limited customer return that has had the belt removed and replaced with a chain, and the shifter replaced with a manual shifter. I guess I'm wondering how well the chain will hold up with a high torque mid motor.

Anyone have any thoughts about this AL with chain drive, and manual shifter? The cost is significantly less, but it won't have belt drive or the option to use the automatic shifting feature.

I've been impressed with the Evelo brand their use of quality components in the Omega model, so that's why I was surprised by a rigid frame, unless it simply wasn't necessary. I appreciate the replies and plan to keep the Omega on my short list!
