    Aventure to Aventure.2 Upgrade?

From those that have actually done the swap, did you try to use the original display? If so, did it work, or what happened as to why it didn't?

    Aventure to Aventure.2 Upgrade?

I appreciate the input on the quality of the Aventure, but all I do is ride it on the street with the wife, from home to the beach. I use it as a beach cruiser basically and was wondering if it's worth the $300 upgrade.

    Aventure to Aventure.2 Upgrade?

Wow, that's great! Thanks!! Is it really that simple though?? Are we 100% sure that new bottom bracket will fit the frame on the Aventure? Why is a new display needed? Is there a How To to see how the wire gets run?

    Aventure to Aventure.2 Upgrade?

I own an original Aventure which has a standard pedal speed sensor and am wondering if Aventon has plans to make an Upgrade Package to install the new Aventure.2 Torque Sensor?

    Aventure Bottom Bracket change...

Nope, it's a compression fitting and can be pulled right off with a thin metal spatula. They're also sold as a replacement part for like $15 I think.

Why don't you visit a local store that sells them, or even rents them to see?

    Aventure Bottom Bracket change...

I never did get exact details on replacement units - details good enough to purchase one. They sent me a new OEM BB under warranty that I installed today.

Aventon Aventure problem on new bike

Yes that's a problem if one Aventure bike thinks its a Pace! What if you factory reset it and start over?

    Aventure Bottom Bracket change...

Update: Besides the orginal BB that came in the bike, there's only 2 other alternatives that fit - not counting a custom made Phil Wood unit, or the like. I'm waiting for an email from Aventon detailing what those 2 other units are. I will post back when I have more info.

    Aventure Bottom Bracket change...

I'm very familiar with bearings, and know these sealed bearings are at the low end of the spectrum with regard to quality. I also know they can't be serviced and are a replaceable part. Also, what I believe you're referring to being scratched up is in fact grease smears? There's no scratches on...

    Aventure Bottom Bracket change...

OK - you've all waited long enough... I finally had the time, and the proper tools, to take out the bottom bracket on my Aventure. Here's the pics... You can see in the 2nd pic the R side threaded screw is holding the entire piece together. I used the puller to separate the bearing from the...

No hitch produced for my car?

The reason could be a very simple one - your transmission is not rated for towing. That's what I was told years ago when I had an Acura TL... transmission made of glass some said! Ha! I custom installed a Curt hitch and moved my wife and I from FL to CA pulling a 4x8 trailer over the course of 5...

    Aventure Bottom Bracket change...

What an Aventure so far... with trying to get this crank apart and the BB out!! The first crank puller tool I purchased ended up stripping the threads on the crank - this Sunlite product I cannot recommend. I returned it (and the 14mm hex bit socket I also bought for it) and purchased this from...

No hitch produced for my car?

Here's Curt hitch that fits an E350. Not sure it'll fit your car, but it's worth a look.

    Good Stuff You Bought

I ordered one of these... They make exceptional tools that last a lifetime, just like Wiha tools. Now I'll be able to torque down bolts on the ebikes. I have a Craftsman for stuff over 25lbs.
