    Sudden loss of braking performance on rear brake - Vado SL 4.0

    I had trouble with my SL. 5.0 brakes. I went to Halfords who were no help at all. Found another mechanic who showed me the brake pads worn down to the metal! It caused much merriment in the shop. I admit I'm pretty useless at mechanics of any sort!

    Hi there, how difficult is it to bleed Vado 5.0 SL front brake? I've never tried this on any bike and would rather get a bike shop to do it, but the four in our town can't do it either because they unaccountably don't have the kit to do it (2), don't do repairs anymore or I would have to wait...

    I got the Vado 5 SL EQ about 6 months ago. I do love it. I probably use higher power rates than most people as I'm not naturally strong in the legs and have a bit of COPD. It's still a good workout though and only the steepest of hills defeats it, though that is probably equally due to my riding...

    Thanks for the info Stefan. Ah Dublin does! Sadly Derry (of the famous Girls comedy) isn't great infrastructure wise though they have build green ways recently though there is a real shortage of cycle paths on roads.

Does the bike need the TCD unit or can it work with just being connected to mission control? The battery on the TCD is running out and worried in case I make a mistake when changing...
