Does anyone have experience with MAUI e-bikes? or specifically with K5351 TFT Display/Controller?

Yes, I have settings for "PAS Levels". I currently have a 0-5 and I can also set it to 0-9 amongst others. So I guess it is all about setting the PAS Level at the highest to have most granularity on the display and Proration setting at the maximum 100%. Thanks again

Does anyone have experience with MAUI e-bikes? or specifically with K5351 TFT Display/Controller?

Yeah, this is what I was asking myself. I will give it a try, maybe tomorrow. We are having pretty nasty weather, freezing rain and high winds today and possibly tomorrow. I did notice though that 50% in the snow was a very good ratio. Thanks for the tip and the info, much appreciated.

Does anyone have experience with MAUI e-bikes? or specifically with K5351 TFT Display/Controller?

So here is the lastest on the K5351 TFT controller/display For one, there is no word "Proporation" in the english language. This appears to be some kind of bad translation error, a contraction betwen Proration and Proportion. From my readings, the K5351 TFT controller/display is designed to...

Does anyone have experience with MAUI e-bikes? or specifically with K5351 TFT Display/Controller?

Thanks for your reply it is much appreciated. Unfortunately this setting does not say a lot and I beleive I will need to experiment a little on my own. Of what I understand you probably either use Torque setting or PAS setting but not both. Torque setting is used to mimick a normal bike use...

Does anyone have experience with MAUI e-bikes? or specifically with K5351 TFT Display/Controller?

Hi I just bought a new MAUI e-bike and I was wondering if any one has experience with the K5351 TFT controller? Unfortunately setting instructions for "PAS level select setting" and "PAS ratio setting" cannot be set while the unit is in "torque mode". Bummer, no where does it say how to get...

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I experienced a similar issue last week where the pedal assist just stopped working. Usually my bike sleeps outdoors even in winter and I had never experienced this kind of malfunction in earlier years. I took the bike indoors, cleaned the sensor and voilà, everything works just fine now...

Okay...which one of you did this???

The lock is actually a no twist or anti twist lock which means even if you mamage to make one cut through the U bolt you will not be able to open or twist the 2 parts apart enough to release the bike from where it is anchored. You will need a second cut on one of the 2 very unstable parts now to...

Okay...which one of you did this???

So yesterday, I went dowtown Montreal for a quick 25-30 minutes hearcut. This was done with a hand saw, in broad daylight, in a park facing a community Police Station. The nerve of those people. Well, it's a bummer to have to buy a new lock but hey! I still have my ebike.;) A good lock is a...

You probably can change model but I would start looking onto Shimano's site to see if there are equivalents to your own model. Possibly a higher quality product/model. You can write them and ask.

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Hi Sandro, A loose crank is definitely an issue that needs to be fixed. I am not familiar with the pas sensor but it most likely magnetic and it makes sense that it would be affected by a loose crank. Tolerance is probably in millimeters. I've not read all your post but to isolate the problem...

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Hi thanks for both your replies, I beleive both of you are right. I took a second look and I could not see any notches inside the gears assembly so I went in with a small screwdriver and voilà I can definetly feel the notches inside. I then took my very powerful bike light and I can see what I...

Hi there, thanks for the tip. I just consulted my trusted friend, Calvin Jones from park tools https://www.parktool.com/en-us/blog/repair-help/determining-cassette-freewheel-type and I understand the required tool is an HCW-17 or someting like it.

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Hi all, just updating on my fidings while searching for a 27.5 x 1.9mm 36 HOLES/SPOKES rim. You can see on picks 1 an 2 the new rim is larger than the old one. In fact the old rim fits right into the old rim. I tried returning the larger rim to Amego and have it replaced by the proper size but...

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Hi there thanks for the tip, you're right this is very narrow for an e-bike. The cliffhanger would be a good size for the Moscow but this is a bit large for the Milano (1.9mm). So basically, 27.5 x 1.9mm 36(HOLES-SPOKES)

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Hi all, I am currently looking for a NCM Milano rim to replace badly dented rim on a 27.5 inch bike. 26 inch are easy to find but 27.5, I have not found except to buy the complete rim-motor assembly. I might have to go with the full asse mbly if I can't fim the rim only. Of course the cost is...
