    New extended power battery

Search for "Protec Flute Case" on Amazon. It will hold one well padded battery or two slightly padded in the lower compartment. The upper pocket will hold an unpadded battery or a plethora of tools, spares, first-aid kit and snacks. Attach with two Velcro loops holding the top handle of the bag...

    Ordering parts time line?

I recall a reddit thread in the last week where a used display was shipped to a 2.0 customer under warranty for use until new spares arrive. Caig DeoxIT is what I use for contact cleaning. It has been the standard for vintage electronics restoration and in use by some of the best minds in high...

Lectric XP 2.0 bottom bracket, type and size?

Loose crank bolts, the swedged chainring to the crank flexing or a dry seatpost needing grease would be my guess. After replying to your reddit post with some more thought, the bottom bracket is threaded and serviceable. Standard loose bearings given the cost. If the BB/Crank is not loose, pull...

My XP 2.0 arrived today and I’m hesitant to open the box because…

I'm impressed they responded so quickly. Look for broken zip ties that would allow for destructive movement. Assuming the other bike arrives with packaging intact, I would suggest unpacking it first so you'll be able to spot any abnormalities in the damaged box. One of ours took a hard hit...

My XP 2.0 arrived today and I’m hesitant to open the box because…

Don't wait for email. Call them first thing Monday morning. Both of our XPs were delivered on their side despite the warning on the box. Two months out we are still sorting through the problems with one of the bikes. Lectric has been very responsive. I can't imagine having to deal with this...

    Question about Bike Radios

I don't think the OP wants to blast tunes obnoxiously like the electric scooter crowd. Archer bicycle radios weren't built to high standards. The two I remember in our small town self destructed from the popular at the time Stingray's vibration. A mesh water bottle pouch to isolate the vibration...

XP 2.0 Kickstand & Burley Hitch Conflict?

Burley replied promptly with the obvious, remove the kickstand to use the hitch. I ordered a Click-Stand to use for the limited time the trailer is in tow.

XP 2.0 Kickstand & Burley Hitch Conflict?

I'm trying to fit a Burly Flatbed to a XP 2.0. The kickstand contacts the bottom of the axel mounted hitch a tad short of three inches from full retraction. There's an old thread with XP center stand options, unfortunatly they won't fit a 2.0. Wondering if anyone has come up with an alternative...

Lectric Mid Drive? Hmm.. Game changer?

It seems like the deviding line is active versus passive. Having grown up on a steep hill, I was thankful for the three speed bicycle that arrived shortly after age 10 which allowed climbing of said hill without such extreme exertion. All multispeed bicycles (cars & trucks) provide the option...

Speed setting - can only choose 32 or 100

Reading this thread I'm a little concerned about folk's bike handling skills, has anyone done any desending on an XP? It's rock solid at over 40 mph, just keep your bar height reasonable. Stingrays with ape hangers crashed daily at the bottom of our hill in my youth...

    XP 2.0 Aftermarket Replacement Cranks?

I've been thinking about this a bunch this evening and it's time to clear the air. Having been on forums since the UBB platform was introduced this thread has the first post of mine edited by a moderator. Granted there were multiple threads locked on a popular overclocking forum back in the day...

    XP 2.0 Aftermarket Replacement Cranks?

Ben's Cycle to the rescue, ordered a couple of their house brand Andel cranksets at $75 each. They are black versions of the cranksets that came on our Brompton Superlights. Lectric refunded $50 for each damaged crankset. Thanks to all who replied!

    XP 2.0 Aftermarket Replacement Cranks?

Thanks, please read what I have posted. Been doing this for years, have the tools and expertise. Not interested in anything AliExpress, poopoo quality and scam service, not going to get screwed again.

    XP 2.0 Aftermarket Replacement Cranks?

Been working on bikes with cotterless cranks for over fifty years.

    XP 2.0 Aftermarket Replacement Cranks?

Why would I want a replacement crank made from the same brittle alloy? I tried to pick up the thread fragments from the crank and they CRUMBLED between my fingers. Out of touch with the market, looking for a replacement single chairing crankset that won't break the bank and will NOT SELF DESTRUCT.

    XP 2.0 Aftermarket Replacement Cranks?

Both of our recently delivered XPs have damaged crank pedal threads from over torqued pedals in brittle Chinesium. Looking for an aftermarket crankset without breaking the bank. I'm a little out of my element, with the exception of our Bromptons and a single speed Wabi our bikes have either...

Lectric Mid Drive? Hmm.. Game changer?

We had a pair of standard frame XP 2.0s delivered this afternoon. The option to redirect them back to Lectric and order XPremiums was available. My wife took one look at the new bike and nixed it because of the cow catcher in front of the bottom bracket. At only five feet tall she also picked...
