Easy Motion Neo Carbon engine problems.

I have no experience with this bike. But for me, the whole point of an e-bike was to get assistance on hills, and mine does just that. From here it sounds like there's something seriously wrong. Have you tried contacting the company directly? It may be that you'll have to just make a lot of...

    Fenders and vehicle racks

Checking in on rack-related issues. In a nutshell, I decided that the fenders, which would be a much-needed feature on a commuter/urban bike, weren't mission-critical for me. At home, using the bike is optional, and we don't get much rain here in the desert. On the road, it's a convenience...

    Fenders and vehicle racks

Not sure why my response was so garbled. I did look at that Thule model, but it's WAY more expensive than the one from 1upusa. Fenders are the issue.

    Fenders and vehicle racks

In my case the entire problem is with the rear wheel. I look at the Thule model that you put it yet. I gotta say the cost is pretty high. Thanks for the input! What I do depends a lot on how important I think fenders are. R

    Fenders and vehicle racks

I just got my refurb e-JOE Anggun, and I'm really happy with it so far. I'll post a summary of my initial experiences and impressions shortly. Now I need a rack for my RV so I can take it places. That's been harder than I thought it would be; the combination of weight (54 pounds with battery)...

Something like the Kloud cover that Court suggested looks ideal for the patio. I wonder whether it could be secured well enough to use on a vehicle rack. The skinz "bike bras" would cost a LOT.. I'm thinking some variation of a tie-down tarp. Not pretty, but maybe just as effective. It'll...

Court said: Court, and others -- I wound up making a decision which surprised me. I went for one of the refurb 2013 Anggun full-size bikes from eJoe. I wasn't able to ride one of the folding e-bikes, but I did ride a folding non-ebike. And a low-step iZip model. I simply preferred the...

Thanks. It helps to know what the factors which inform a rating and a review. Today's Epik SE seems to have been upgraded from the the unit which you reviewed a while ago. They now do have front and rear lights -- how good is hard to tell -- and a rack. I agree that the fenders look more...

@Court, thanks for the review of the EZ Pedaler F350. I think it compares well in many ways with the e-JOE Epik SE. I was drawing up a comparison matrix for the two, until I talked on the phone with Dick Allen (I think I got his name right) of EZ Pedaler. The F350 will not be available until...

Court -- you probably use a lot of different chargers. The AC amperage should be on the charger -- the e-joe unit I'm considering seems to draw 1.2 amps of AC, so the unit you suggested would probably be OK for that.

A little more homework. A hitch, installed on my Hyundai would cost about $260. The actual carrier would be between $250 and $300. So the there's $500 or more that I would not have to spend if I got a folding bike. After some phone calls, Google searches, and an in-person visit to my...

Thanks, all. I'm 5'7 and about 175-180. I'm not all that wedded to the idea of a folding bike, but it does mean the thing can pretty much be dry and out of sight, as Court said. I see the appeal of the bike that Jayvan settled on, but that's out of my price range at this point. Jayvan, I...

Hey, folks! I just looked through the thread that Jayvan started in late March, and a lot of the information there was really helpful. My situation is parallel in many ways to his. Didn't want to hijack that thread, so here's my situation. I want an e-bike to take with me on RV trips and to...

Advice for RV travel bike with some city use

Jayvan, it's been very useful to follow your decision process. Congrats on the purchase -- I hope you'll report on how things go when you hit the road. We could use some of that rain here in Tucson, please! My situation is similar to yours: I want an e-bike that I can take with me on RV trips...

    Epik upgrade

I'm considering ordering the SE. It looks close to ideal for my needs. But a few questions for the knowledgeable people here. The order page for the bike says it has front and rear lights. Could you EBR guys confirm this? I expect I'd want to put my own better lights on, but it would be...
