Can this motor be used with just throttle only connected? And not have PAS or torque sensor connected. Will this create an error?

Rear hub and mid drive motor working at the same time. what is the the outcome?

My thinking is that if I have both systems. A rear hub motor and mid drive with only throttle option. I would start with peddle assist with the hub motor then when I start struggle on a steep climb, I would kick on the mid drive for that extra power. Any thoughts?

Rear hub and mid drive motor working at the same time. what is the the outcome?

This bike needs more power as I am not able to climb steep hills or steep dirt roads. Also I would like to pull a bike trailer like the Burley flat bed. I am not in it to go fast or to tearing down public roads but more torque. More off road capability.

Rear hub and mid drive motor working at the same time. what is the the outcome?

I am currently into this ebike for 2 grand and adding a mid drive is another 1500 ish. So at the end I end up with, I agree a heavier bike but will have two bikes in one for 3500. I will post more if I go through with it. But in the mean time I would appreciate more helpful thoughts or advice...

Rear hub and mid drive motor working at the same time. what is the the outcome?

I made the mistake of buying my first ebike without thoroughly doing the research. Now I am stuck with a ebike that lacks power. Now I can sell the bike and start fresh or add on to it and make it a more capable bike that can do everything I want. My goal is to climb steep dirt roads or trails...

Wallke 750w rear hub motor with CYC X1 Pro mid drive

I have 750w in the rear and if I went with 1200w in the front would there be any issues. How can I make them work together. Is there a switch that I can connect to one throttle so that rear is always connected and the front I can switch on or off?

Wallke 750w rear hub motor with CYC X1 Pro mid drive

I don't know if mine is geared hub. I am totally new to ebikes. My ebike has the setting to 1-3 power assist and can even customize the setting to 1-5. Here is issue when I am climbing at the 2 speed setting and when set it at 3 the motor does absolutely nothing more.

Wallke 750w rear hub motor with CYC X1 Pro mid drive

Now I am leaning towards leaving the stock system alone and adding a independent front wheel motor and making it 2wd. I am seeing on youtube companies selling 2wd ebikes and others installing a front wheel kit. Anyone here have any experiences riding or building one?

Wallke 750w rear hub motor with CYC X1 Pro mid drive

What are your thoughts for adding a separate system. I am thinking of adding a mid drive system. My goal is just not just speed but to able to go up steep mountain roads and pull a trailer around 100 lbs.
