    Tire reccomendation

I too use Super Moto x tires and find them excellent on pavement. Also ride on dirt roads and some gravel and they're fine there. I have also found they wear very well and I ride a heavy e-bike. And as above poster stated, I doubt that the 0.05 inches will make a difference.

Bike Rack for Trek Verve+4S Lowstep

I have a R&M Nevo 3, a step through, and use a Thule EasyFold X2. The arm fastens to the seat post. Good carrier and Thule provided great post-purchase service. But in your case, the Bike Beam seems like the most economical solution.

    Good Reads for the Season

Libby is a fine app. I'm too cheap to use Audible (he says after spending thousands on an e-bike). Only downside of Libby is selection from local library might be somewhat limited by the collection, especially when you click the "available now" filter.

Trunk Bag for 2022 Turbo Vado

I have the Basil bag: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075DKCKVX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I have found it very well made and meets all of my needs. The zippers seem fine and it does come with a shoulder strap. Snaps on and releases easily.

    Update to/New Turbo Vado 5.0?

The belt tension on my R&M Nevo 3 with enviolo was too high and causing problems. I now aim for about 40 pounds/18kg per the Gates chart: https://www.gatescarbondrive.com/resources/handling-and-tension. I have used both the Gates cricket and their app to measure tension. If you don't have a...

Anyone know where to find a screw on helmet mirror?

This is a great mirror. The optics are perfect. Takes a bit of fiddling initially to get it in the right place. I use zip ties and they work fine.

    Good uses for walk mode

I have a step-through and love it, but I didn't realize before I purchased it how difficult it is to carry - not just the weight, but the inherent awkwardness of the frame. I wonder if anyone has jury rigged a carrying strap attached to the pedal/motor area.

New and require some advice if anyone has the time

Sorry about your accident. Unless you had previously damaged the pedal, e.g. by turning too sharply toward its side, or had the bike fall toward that side, I would think it is simply a defective pedal. I'd replace the petals with decent quality ones. I have used these...

    Good uses for walk mode

As a few others have posted, walk mode makes it possible to get a heavy bike (Nevo 3) up a flight of stairs. The challenge is the platform and 180 degree turn halfway up. I've also used it to climb the ramp on my Thule rack.

Vado 5 IGH - Squeaking Noise

I am having a similar problem on an R&M Nevo 3 with Enviolo hub (manual). Noise only present when pedaling, and it's not quite synchronized with the pedal rpm. I checked the belt tension (I used both a Gates tension meter and their app) and found it above the recommended level. I have...

America Has An E-Bike Problem That Can’t Be Solved With More E-Bikes

That 5' buffer between the bike and parking lanes is critical. A few years ago I was in NYC and was not used to the infrastructure. I went to get out of the car and almost clocked a biker. My bad, but wouldn't have been an issue with a 5' buffer.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to get encouragement and answers to e-bike questions as they arise.

Where are the bike tire nerds?

I ride super moto-x tire (27.5 x 2.4) on a R&M Nevo 3 and really like them. It sounds as if we're riding in similar environments, so I don't think you'd be disappointed.

    Deaf Riders

I have the same helmet mirror, and love it. It initially took some time to get used to adjusting it. I also have a Mirrycle mountain bike mirror, and Garmin radar; I use all three.

    Bike radar

I love the Garmin radar. It even shows multiple cars approaching from the rear, and has a different color for fast approaching ones. I also like that gives you a visual alert on your cell phone screen, a sound alert, and a vibration. Still, I agree with @fooferdoggie. Mirrors are still...

Using a Pet Trailer with a Ride1Up Turris?

If you're in the market for a pet trailer, I understand that Kristi Noem might have a lightly used one for sale.

Garmin Varia on a helmet using Apple Watch app (ARadar).

I'd check what type of electromagnetic radiation the Varia emits before I strapped it close to my head.

Super Delight Charging Port Cover - for dummies

Does anyone know if the port on the listed models is the same as on the Nevo3, which is not listed. Thanks.

Encinitas City Council declares emergency for e-bikes, bicycles

Had no idea who/what Ogmios is/was, so I followed the link. Then followed a sidebar recommendation to this bicycle related topic: . So many rabbit holes, so little time.

Hypotheticals - would you replace your R&M with another R&M??

I have had a Nevo3 for a year and a half. I have had no problems with the exception of a small IGH problem, easily fixed. The bike (1100 ah) has more range than my butt (I'm 79), but with front suspension, Kinekt seat post, and Brooks saddle, I find the bike very comfortable. And at my age...
