    I just got a nice used 2014 Trek 8.5 DS, it has stock rims which are 19mm width 700c. The stock tires were replaced with some Chinese brand that says 700x38c but 40-622 for the identification number size, so they're around there.     Thanks. So the second number in the cartridge spec isn't important? Only the first i.e. 68 or 73 x abc where the abc doesn't matter? So the cartridge of a fat tire bike, for instance, might be 90mm x abc and then the 90 means I'd need a different BBS02 or BBSHD spindle?
