Looking at either an NCM Milano plus or a RadCity step through. Thoughts and comparisons?

Both bikes are priced the same here in Vancouver. Considerations are that we have a lot of hills where I live so the geared rear hub motor on the NCM seems like it might be a better option. Anyway, looking forward to people's thoughts! Thanks

    Shimano STePS

@JayVee Would you mind taking a spin and seeing if it happens on your bike? Just flip it into HIGH on a flat, choose a low gear and pedal fast and let me know what happens! I'm curious to know if it's just me. <<edit>> I just realized it was loaner. If you happen to borrow one again, please do...

    My New Conduit+

    My New Conduit+

I did some tests and it cuts out at as little as 12kph. It seems to occur when I pedal fast. It drops out for second then back in then out. The cut out at 32kph (the upper limit) is much smoother than this issue.

    My New Conduit+

I use HIGH to get up a few hills but I never pedal particularly fast up them so it doesn't seem to happen. As you say, not a huge deal and one that I expect, given it seems to occur on everybody's Conduit+, will eventually be fixed. Surely it's not "as designed"! ;-)

    My New Conduit+

Just recently got my Conduit+ and so far I am very happy with it. It makes a 15km commute with steep hills at either end and two bridges in the middle very tolerable. My only quibble so far happened today. In HIGH mode while pedaling fast, the motor intermittently cut out. This didn't happen...
