UCI fined him for conduct unbecoming. Sigh.

Latest Bosch motor - and it’s not what you’d expect…

Just awful! They claim it’s to make carrying on your shoulder easier - no doubt cyclocross bikes will soon be adopting it as standard ;-)

Latest Bosch motor - and it’s not what you’d expect…

Yes. For the mapping, notifications and the screen. I think that the Megamo’s are 13.9kg road, 14.9kg gravel, btw. I guess lightest.

Last time I checked, Cycling Today/Cycling stream had loads of stages from most races available as full replays (as much as TV carried) And completely free. Always worth a look. Also live, but can be laggy/problems with feed.

Did you see the bonkers Megamo road and gravel bikes I previewed with the Avinox M2S?

Latest Bosch motor - and it’s not what you’d expect…

Yes, it is genuinely good, but I hope I don’t need to say that. I keep trying to find bad stuff to say in my reviews so that they’re taken seriously, but I keep getting sent decent stuff. For 80ish quid, this is fantastic. It’s a Magene C606 really. I was asked not to mention that as Geoid are...

Latest Bosch motor - and it’s not what you’d expect…

Today Bosch unveiled a completely new motor. Are you sitting down? It’s a 45Nm HUB motor. Canyon have put it in their latest singlespeed commuter Roadlite ON - also released today. I was supposed to be getting my hands on one for a little spin next week after Eurobike, but have surgery...

    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

Captain I’ll pop back and ride it for you, never fear.

    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

Probably a bit late to the party, Captain, but from what Canyon told me about the possibility of swapping the Grizl ON fly to a TQ motor (none), I wouldn’t hold my breath re a new frame for the Endurace ON. They said they wouldn’t contemplate changes within 2-3 years of a launch owing to the...

I suspect Jonas wouldn’t make Del Toro’s mistake! For those wanting to watch live but unprepared to remortgage their house to do so, if it’s working, https://cycling.today/ or That’s JHB, Jonathan Harries-Bass I think. The foodie cyclist. Can’t bear him!

    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

Like the others, the change was forced on me through illness, but it didn’t take long for me to regain fitness, and soon surpass the amount of riding I was doing before. My annual kms went from 6k to 10k, but more importantly, I was enjoying it more. No climb was beyond me - opening up descents...

    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

Are they?! That is great news for the UK. The BH iRS1 has a whopping great battery (600Wh) but must be heavier. The iAerolight was a year or more ahead of the game with its 11.8kg, ‘big’ battery and powerful mid motor. Brilliant bikes. As to which of the 3…such a hard choice. I’m riding all...

    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

I still pinch myself that I get to ride these bikes! Me, a fat goat farmer! Not exactly GCN material! So, Ras, you liked the idea of the gravel race, the 5-day rave…yet say nothing about the clothing-optional weird-as-f ‘Nowhere’ festival??? Making hummus in a tent, or performative art whilst...

’Fraid not…waiting for TQ to send one along once I’m done with the ones I have. Crazy.

Thanks for letting me know about it, Cal. Fingers crossed they’ll send one out. That silver one is absolutely gorgeous!

    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

Well spotted Cal. So Scott get in first In the US! Prices are pretty high compared to Canyon but not unexpected with tariffs on the TQ bits at least, and not Direct-to-Consumer. And the enviable 28mph cut-off! Bah. Not sure the price will necessarily put everyone off…this is a niche bike, and...

    New TQ Motor

The 60 has the two mechanical clutches, like the 50. I’ve not heard about TQ efficiency data - haven’t they always played things close to their chest? I’ll ask.
