    Accessories for your XP

Jury is still out on this one, but I figure it's worth mentioning. Extremely bright flashlight strapped to the front of the frame on the left side with Wrap-It stretch velcro straps. I prefer having the headlight run off its own battery, and for it to double as a detachable flashlight. I also...

Any ideas on a Water Bottle Cage for Lectric 2.0?

Stumbled across these bottle cage adapters on Amazon, which attach where the front basket normally would, and let you attach two cages to the sides. There are two versions, "Rad compatible" and "Himiway compatible". One of the two is probably compatible with the XP 2.0, but since Cascade doesn't...

    Lectric XP controller issues ?

DavidBrandNew has a video of upgrading the controller to a much beefier 1500 watt model. Pretty serious job, much wiring hackage, used a different battery, warranty completely voided. But he got it to work. Caveat diyer.

Does lectric bikes 2.0 have Puncture-resistant fat tires?

Thanks, @velos ! I've been wondering what size motorcycle tire would fit on our rims. Looks like Pandafoo is pretty happy with the tire swap, from his positive comments in his later videos, though he had to futz with the rear fender to keep it from rubbing on the tire. The Duro HF319 3.50-16...

Any ideas on a Water Bottle Cage for Lectric 2.0?

I bought a cheap plastic cage with some flex to it and cable-tied it to the frame triangle just above the braze-ons behind the seat tube. Works OK, but the water bottle isn't easily accessible while riding.

    BEST LECTRIC BIKE LOCK

I got a brake rotor lock similar to this one as a kind of secondary deterrent. The alarm is super-touchy, so it's not great for anywhere like a bike rack where someone might brush up against it. I've forgotten that I put it on almost every time I've used it, but it's really really good at...

    handlebar replacements????

Looks cool, especially the banana seat! Was that at all tricky to swap in? Do you have a list of changes you've made?

    Accessories for your XP

Wow, that wrap is really cool! Did you make it with individual stickers? The brake levers can be moved. They are clamped to the handlebars, and if you loosen their clamps they're pretty easy to slide and tilt. If you look at the underside of the brake lever housing, there's a hexagonal hole...

    Accessories for your XP

Still very happy with these handlebars. The pain I was feeling in my hands and shoulders is gone, probably because I'm not leaning forward on my hands anymore. The handlebars are strong and don't flex. I like the grips a lot, but I'm very used to them, as they're the same kind I had on my bikes...

@bluetex maybe a little late, but for cruiser handlebars see my notes here and let me know if you have any questions.

    Accessories for your XP

Wald 8038GB City steel handlebars. 30" wide with 5" rise. Gloss black. Made in Kentucky, USA. $24 on Amazon but currently sold out, avaiable on eBay for a few bucks more. Grips are old-school ODI Longnecks, 135mm black, $12 on Amazon. Used some high-alcohol hand sanitizer to help slide them on...

Second the recommendation on Kroil. That stuff is magic.

    xp 2.0 suspension adjustments

Hi Gmeng, Lectric has pretty good info in their help system. They also recommend locking the forks for riders over 265 pounds.

    Accessories for your XP

Wristwatch for your XP plus a "fake wrist" to mount it with. I wanted a clock for my XP, ordered one designed to mount on a bike, wasn't really impressed with it in real life. Really wanted to put a cheap Casio F91W but they're backordered and I didn't want to wait. Besides, how would you...

    Issue with Folding frame latch

I don't think I've ever seen an M4x2mm set screw. Must have like 1 turn of thread on it. Couldn't find any assortments on Amazon with smaller than M4x4mm, but found a 10-pack of M4x3mm at Horizon Hobby. For something that small though, it might be fairly easy to cut the tip of a nylon M4 screw...

    Lectric XP 2.0 Reviews

I went to a small gathering in a local park on Saturday, hoping to ride the XP to the park, but FedEx had other ideas. But three people showed up on electric bikes! Two were riding EG Athens step-through bikes, which looked like Dutch city bikes, and were quite striking in person. For someone...

    Lectric XP 2.0 Reviews

Some details on my black standard XP 2.0, no extras ordered: Battery took about 3 hours to charge. Tires are CST Patrol 20x3.0, inflate to 30 PSI. Look like pretty generic fat knobby tires. Delivered with a smidge of air in them. Standard seat is by Chaunts, Lectric-branded, about 11 inches...

Expedited Shipping Options and Shipping Update

I ended up deciding to do the expedited shipping. Paid for it on Sunday, got the notice yesterday (Wednesday) from FedEx that the label was created. The XP should arrive sometime next week. The thing that changed my mind on spending the $150 was the snap in the air when walking Sunday morning...
