I could not remove my Intuvia controller on my-new-to-me 2017 Gazelle C8 NL there is a very tiny locking screw!

Yes I totally agree. I took the screw out so I could take it off and on. It looked like a very tint thing to count on protecting an expensive controller! Besides the thievery aspect of it my bike is in my garage which gets over, I am sure, 115F in the summer (46C) here in Arizona. Thank you

Hello from Jaime and GiGi Gazelle

Thank you Lorne! I appreciate it. I am so happy you can ride again! I bit the bullet and sold my road bike this week! Still can not get it out of my mind like an old flame leaving me. But I did find the perfect new home, the new owner is even going to do the AIDS LIFECYCLE ride that I did years...

Is my locking plan good enough?

You have to open the Air Tag up and remove the speaker. According to Apple you can not turn them off. After 72 hrs on “Find My” they begin to beep. Here is just one of many “how to”s. This of course voids the warranty and may compromise the water resistance. I am going to buy a silicone closed...

So do you feel secure leaving the display locked on with the nut tightened? Wow that’s a tiny screw!

Is my locking plan good enough?

Thank you so much! I was wondering if I could look into motorcycle locks! This is a well thought out system! I am so surprised that the E-Bike stores here selling bikes are selling really inferior locks! Maybe so far our crime scene is not as bad as NY or SF but they are selling really crappy...

Hello from Jaime and GiGi Gazelle

I am learning to get in to that mindset. I sold my wonderful road bike today. You are spot on. I spend a lot of time meditating, aiming to be mindful and in the moment. This is a true opportunity to be better at that. Me too, I never relaxed on my road bike. I felt like I was still competing or...

Is my locking plan good enough?

I just got my used ebike and for me also like m@Robertson said “do not lock it” is not an option for me. I bought it to replace my car as much as possible and am committing to riding it to go shopping etc. I am in the Phoenix metro area, Downtown Mesa to be exact, so possibly not quite as many...

Is my locking plan good enough?

So what are you using to lock it? Thanks!

Is my locking plan good enough?

Hmmm interesting. For me buying a used 2016 Gazelle C7 NL I could not add to homeowners because the State Farm underwriters wanted an estimate on current replacement comparable bike. No one would write one up. But if they had it was about $20/month for $4000 replacement insurance with a $300...

I could not remove my Intuvia controller on my-new-to-me 2017 Gazelle C8 NL there is a very tiny locking screw!

I have a new-to-me 2017 Gazelle C7 NL with an Intuvia controller. I am an E-Bike newbie and just figuring it all out. I wanted to remove the Intuvia as suggested when I lock my bike up somewhere (oh my goodness my Auto-Incorrect kept changing “lock” to “lick”??!!) . I also live in Arizona and it...

Hello from Jaime and GiGi Gazelle

Wow thank you! I lived in Houston for years, that’s one noble endeavor in the car worshipping land. It’s hard here also in Phoenix to change the urban sprawl into walkable/bikeable cities. But some of us are trying. I STILL feel invisible on my bike and aware of purposeful aggressive moves by...

Hello from Jaime and GiGi Gazelle

Hi! Hello from Arizona! I am thrilled to have found my new-to-me used 2017 Gazelle NL C7 bike! I am braving the 100-116 F degree weather to get the ergometrics and baskets etc worked out to really try to replace my car as much as possible! I am an older (63) former endurance triathlete, worked...
