It should eventually disappear. That is a pretty common problem with suspension forks. The seals just need some breaking in. Don't be tempted to spray a lubricant in there as that will attract grit.

Well it's all relative. If you are getting lots of miles it's worth it. I am at the n+1 point - I have 4 bikes and the ebike will hopefully get me out of the car more often, but I will still choose mountain biking on my full sus for fun.
