Battery Failure on Rize RX Pro

i replaced the 10amp fuse. put the bottom cap back on the battery. took off the top cap, couldn't really get to taking off the wiring harness from the little mother board. everything is tight, and siliconed in. Its very well built. I got a feeling like i was going to win at blackjack. tried the...

Battery Failure on Rize RX Pro

I watched the video. I have the battery cap off. The fuse ‘looks’ good. I am going to see if I can slide more of the inner components out and access the wiring harness

Battery Failure on Rize RX Pro

I was riding in Mission Trails, San Diego yesterday. The battery was at 71%. I had been on PAS1, got lazy, used the throttle to assist me over the top of a small hill. After I descended the hill, I noticed the display was off. My power died. It wouldn't re-boot. It was a long ride home with a...

    Hello from San Diego

I missed seeing this. Hopefully you got your bike already and have been getting some rides in. Honestly, i don't know if i would buy it again. I bought used, for less than what they are new. I would prefer a smaller frame, and better options for upgrading the suspension fork. The bike is stout...

    Used Rize RX Pro

You responded with good advice, I appreciate it. I’ve been surfing more and riding less. I am still considering replacing the fork. A couple different bike mechanics recommended the RST Guide, because of its compatibility. The Bolt-On shock you shared a link for looks good. It might be lighter...

    Used Rize RX Pro

I appreciate everyone’s replies. I’m still a newb with this RX. There is frequent mention of quick release skewers. At the risk of sounding naive, I don’t have QR on either axel. They are hex bolted axels. My 90’s generation GT has QR, I swapped the Shimano it came with for Kore. I would love to...

    Used Rize RX Pro

I flipped the bike upside down and looked at the fork. The nut on the bottom left (pre-load) of the fork is tight. The Allen bolt on the bottom of the right side (lock out) is loose, and the source of the rattling. It won’t tighten. I couldn’t attach a quick movie file, but a simple pic was...

    Used Rize RX Pro

Thanks for the response. I am considering the Manitou Mastidon (sp?). I will need help determining what size/length, and if it really is compatible. I’ve been checking with a couple local bike shops for advice. Getting a stiffer fork with better shock absorption would really dial this bike in.

    Hello from San Diego

Greetings from San Diego. I recently bought a used Rize RX Pro, and I’m getting back into mtb. It’s been about 20 years since I quit riding. Started with rigid forks in the early 80’s, rode a few with front suspension, then graduated to a dual in the mid 90’s. This Fat Tire ebike is crazy fun...

    Used Rize RX Pro

I recently bought a used Rize RX Pro. Nice bike, getting used to how it handles on the trail. I noticed the headset feels loose. I tightened it, but there is still a lot of play. The shock makes a loud clunking noice, I think when it tops out. It doesn’t feel blown, but the noise just isn’t...
