It was shipped from the US on 3/23 and arrived on 3/25. Place called happy riding from eBay. Place has 100% feedback rating. I’m going to pull the plastic off later when I get home and see what it looks like.

So just tear it off and I should be good?

This was the sellers reply: Hello friend That is the membrane of the meter, you can tear off the membrane on the surface. If the gauge doesn't crack, it's good

Did u see my pic? I can certainly take that membrane off. Just want to make sure it’s supposed to be taken off. Just seems odd to me.when I took the screen protector off, there was a small round sticker in the upper left corner of the display. It was small but I believe it said tear off...

If you’re speaking of the one with the plastic tab, I removed that one. This is underneath that one. Seems well attached to the display. Are u saying that’s normal? Was thinking since it needs to be torn off something wasn’t quite right.

So I bought this new 500 C display online. Upon inspection it had the membrane tearing off in one spot. The seller says I can tear it off and it will be fine. Isn’t that membrane there for a purpose? Maybe waterproofing I think I need to exchange it any thoughts?

Thanks for all the advice. I think I’ll go with the marine butt splice heat shrink connection with an electrical tape wrap. This seems the easiest way since my motor is already mounted and I have crimpers and a heat gun.

Thank you for the reply. I’ll use the he suggested shrink wrap. Any suggestions to make the connections tighter? One seems a little loose.

Hello! So I just finished installing a bafang mid drive. The battery plate and motor both have bullet connectors. After putting these together should they be crimped or just secured with electrical tape?

I am mounting a bafang 500c-h display to my handlebar stem. The inside diameter of the clamp on the display is 36.5 mm my stem is only 28.8 mm. Looking for suggestions on what to use to shim the difference on the stem so that I can mount the display any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

I have a battery pack in a triangle bag. This is my first battery. It doesn’t have a charge level indicator. Is the only way to tell the level while on the road on the bikes display?

Thank you! That is what I was looking for. I have the motor and need to purchase a battery. When I was researching batteries I see a lot of stuff from China, generic cells for the batteries,etc.. and prices for a 36v 10ah battery anywhere from 150 to 400.00. All the higher priced batteries...
