    New Bike and a question

The problem is that it takes 4 to 6 hr to change my battery and I don't want to have to remember to go out to the shed in 4 to 6 hr to unplug the charger. Or if I want to go off worry about remembering to unplug the charger first.

    New Bike and a question

I'm sure it would be OK to leave it plugged in but I think I'll just get a timer or remote shut off to be safe.

    New Bike and a question

Thanks for jumping in, this is what I thought but the user manual says to unplug the charger when the battery is charged. I know the charger has an automatic cut off when the battery is charged, I don't know if it would automatically come back on if the battery drained some or not. The Manuel...

My new lectric xp is due to arrive next Tuesday. The Manuel says that the battery charger should be unplugged when battery is full. But it also says that the charger will automatically cut off when the battery is charged. Is really necessary to unplug the charger?

    New Bike and a question

My new lectric xp is due to arrive next Tuesday. The Manuel says not to leave the battery charger plugged in after battery is charged and and the charger has turned off. Is this really necessary if the charger has turned itself off?

Looking for a bike, have a few issues

No, your best bet is to order the lectric xp and go on a crash diet. By the time you get the bike you could have lost 50 pounds and would be within the limits of the bike.

I plan on putting tape over the brand name of the bikes as soon as I get them to discourage theft. Even though I will have insurance I don't want to have to use it.

Yes, I'm hoping the bikes will give us more exercise than just a 30 minute walk every day. We have been Full-time RVing for 5 years and have found a lot of site seeing places that require more hiking than we are able to do at 77 years old. I think the bikes will give us more flexibility.

My wife and I are also full time RVers and are waiting delivery of our LECTRIC Xps in about 2 weeks. We've been Full-time RVing for 5 years. We are 77 years old and have found that there are many places we visit that require a long hike to really see the hidden jewels. We also like to get as...
