correct ....picked it up one handed after charging it ,slipped out of my hand and hit the floor ,the plastic battery cover broke about 2 inches off the top ,mounting points broke ,repaired the cover with some cf tissue and instant glue ,its velcroed on now ,until I find another one ...........
mine has done 2500 km now about 1500 miles .
Its in getting new cassette and chain now,9 10 and 11 gears were visibly worn.
A local cycle dealer suggested fitting a bigger chain wheel so that you wont need to use gears 9,10 11.
Its a costly excercise to replace all that stuff but its the price...
Remove left side cover ,its the smaller rear one 26mm dia,10mm shaft ,8 mm thick ,it was spinning in the housing which measured bigger than the od of the bearing.....the lekkie .tech designers loctited it back in to stop it spinning.

Tom ,the riding surface where I usually ride is a bitumen surfaced ,metal chip combination ,its quite rough to the touch,about 100 grit sand paper equivalent .
I had a good look at it this morning while walking our old dog ,hands and knees job!!!!! to check the surface .

The handlebar bolts had loctite already applied to ,them ,snugged them up so the bars were secure .

Voila ,scrape and squeak have gone !!..........Rode 2 laps round the block (3km ).and applied the brakes probably 50 times as hard as I could pull on the lever ,still had a little squeak ,so I gently sanded the rotors with some fine aluminium oxide sand paper on both sides of the disc. Squeak...
Passed 1300 km yesterday ,enjoy riding it almost every day.
