While we're on the topic, I should reiterate checking the tightness of and thread locking the specialized fasteners on the front drive pulley behind your pedals. Mine all loosened quickly and I was fortunate not to lose any of them.

I think it's a general rule to check and loctite all fasteners on mechanical machines that originate from the same country as our bicycles. By comparison, your issues are a blessing when contrasted to my problem ☹️

Well my SA IGH s*it the bed already. I canty have 20 miles on the bike. Barley left my 8 acre yard with it. Not sure what I'm going to do with my $3100 Chinese paper weight. Disappointed and pissed would be an understatement.

What rim did you find arctic and how will the freewheel function be obtained. Next question would be range of adjustment for belt tension with a fixed size rear pulley..

This option really interests me. Keep the reliable belt drive and just find the best all around size rear pulley. I would love to flesh this option out some more.

This is Really disheartening fellas. My md1000 is clunking at random already too. I suppose I'll pull it apart and see what I'm dealing with. I'm a mechanical person but completely unfamiliar with the design and workings of the SA IGH. In short, this blows. I'm almost scared to ride it now 🤮

Also, has anyone found the 48v 5A charger for these bikes for sale anywhere? It was an after though to get a second charger and lelei wants $50 plus $45 shipping. Just wondering if someone had found one that will work for sale somewhere else.

So how are y'all going about washing the mud off these electronic bicycles? Mine needs a bath but I don't want to damage anything. The display will be easy to protect but the batteries and motor..?

Ummm WOW! All smiles here. Just wish I would've known about that second battery lock...oh well, rash was on the corner of the battery and pretty minimal. I'm 5'8" and I wouldn't recommend an inch shorter haha.

Good observation! That's how hastily I put it together! I corrected it, I just attached the wrong photo. Good eye! I was embarrassed when I noticed I did that even though no one was watching lol.

No tire liners yet but I do have 4 spare tubes here already, order them before the bike got here.
