Step over or step through for men?

No worries...your view counts.....😉 All i'm saying is what I do...I mean that's what we're doing here....right? Flat pavement is easy yes. On a bit of a up hill I just do it faster...the swing I mean. Dismount...? I love the dismount...under any circumstances. With my last pedal I swing the leg...

Step over or step through for men?

Just as a repeat of what I said in my previous post. It makes all the difference when I step my foot on the pedal, give the bike a push an go, and then swing the leg over....while the bike is freeing along. I find it difficult...and uncomfortable to swing the leg over while the bike is at a...

Step over or step through for men?

I beg to differ. I'm 67, and I still mount a bike as I did as a kid. I put my foot on the pedal...give the bike a push, and swing the leg over....while standing on the pedal. I do the same when I dismount....just in reverse. That basket will be a hinderence, but I see no problem swinging my leg...

Specialized Vado 5.0 IGH Cadence Survey

Yep, no arguments here either...each to their own. Important thing about it all, is to be happy and content with your ride. For me though...i'm over shifting gears. Similar with cars, I had my time with manuals...been there done that. I just want to relax and enjoy my ride. I choose auto boxes...

    My perfect Vado 5.0 IGH

Great to hear Tony. I'm working on selling my Vado 4.0....and get me a 5.0 IGH. I have some questions plz. What is micro tune...is it a feature of the bike itself? Also, I can't find the actual weight of the bike anywhere. Do you perhaps know how much it weighs?

    Specialized touch up paint?

This is the better option. You're right, the colours are most probably used in the car industry....with a colour code.

    Specialized touch up paint?

I've touched up both mine and the wife's bikes a few times. Every time the chips needed filling to. I have a mountain of colours as I have a little business doing touch ups for the car yards. The easiest route for you I think is to let your local panel and paint shop do a match of your colour...

What is different about the das-kit motors as opposed to bafang.

Bump.. I'm also interested to know. It's German designed, so I would expect it to be metal, or at least a higher quality non metal material. Anybody know what material is used?

    Economic riding using TCD.

Ha Ha...Nah it's not issues as such i'm having mate. Or rather I don't see it as issues.... i'm more interesting and curious about it yes. There is a bit of an issue, with me not being able to describe it properly in English...🥴 But that's ok...i'm working on it and getting better ;)

    Economic riding using TCD.

Nah we're talking part each other again. Pity we can't have a ride together so I can show you exactly what I mean....😉 It's ok though. Happy riding mate 👍

    Economic riding using TCD.

Stefan does your bike also give that momentarily surge of acceleration when it's powered on and you give it one hard quarter of a pedal? The surge momentarily continues after you've seized that quarter of a pedal....Hope you know what I mean.

    Economic riding using TCD.

Thanks for that Brendon. Makes a lot of sense now that you mention it. It's like any electronic device i'm sure... it takes a few moments before it's ready to do it's thing. While I have you here. I take it you're aware that the motor has a tendency to loose power sometimes. While i'm riding it...

And I'm listening ;) I've read some about you talking about it, and I've been on and off thinking about it. When the time comes you're the one i'll be wanting to talk to....😃

    Economic riding using TCD.

Stefan believe me i'm not trying to be difficult. I've been testing and concentrating on this today...took the bikes for a few drives...to see if it isn't my imagination. All I can say is the drag is there and it makes for an uncomfortable ride. On the other hand the only time I would have to...

    Economic riding using TCD.

I have no plans to ride it often turned off...that would be defeating the object. The whole talk so far revolves around low or no battery. That is my logic as well. I just took the two bikes again and both does it. The surge is much slighter as when the motor is powered on, but it is there...

    Economic riding using TCD.

Still thinking about it...when i'm outa battery and it had a little button to push, or lever to flick that frees the motor completely from the drive train, I would pedal this thing all day long 🤪
