Realistic mileage for the Turbo Vado SL 5.0 EQ?

I've done about 400 miles so far with my Como using the 604wh battery. If I use only the ECO mode I can get 40-60 miles out of a full charge. That's mostly on flat roads with minor inclines, and occasional gravel paths for short distances. For example, my last right two days ago used 144wh for...

Why does it seem Vado owners are getting KINEKT 2.1 vs Redshift Seat Post ?

Bonus points if you can post pictures and a description of that process!

    Motor Error

I've had my 2021 Turbo Como 4.0 a little less than three weeks and been able to ride it 7 times so far putting on 127 miles. Today was the seventh ride. All of the rides were either on the roads around my house or a nearby flat groomed gravel bike path. No issues with any of them. Today was the...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I agree I was not impressed by Specialized customer service. And if all else had been equal in terms of availability of equivalent bikes and LBS availability for other brands, that probably would have swayed me away from them. But there's a much less robust Trek and Giant LBS network around me...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

The Vado 3.0 I saw and test road was promoted as the 2021 unit and had the same blue color of that model year from their website where it's listed as "new" and 2021 model year and it had a Class 3 sticker on it.

Serial #/model of the bike not the same as what Mission Control says -- how to fix?

I manually registered the real bike on the website this morning using the real serial #. So that worked. But the Mission Control app still thinks I have a different bike that's a pink 3,.0 low entry with a different serial # Does it matter or can I just ignore that it's tracking a different...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I tried calling Specialized Customer Care about a couple questions when I first started researching the Turbos and got a message that you have to use email. Emailed a couple times, well over a week ago now, and never got any replies. The impression I get is Specialized has no interest in...

Serial #/model of the bike not the same as what Mission Control says -- how to fix?

It never asked me for a frame number or serial #. I had the sticker #'s all ready to go but it auto-decided all the bike info after I paired it with the phone app. It then automatically tried to register the bike with that info and it wouldn't let me manually override it.

Serial #/model of the bike not the same as what Mission Control says -- how to fix?

Got my new Como 4.0 yesterday. I set up Mission Control tonight and tried to register the bike when it asked me too. However, it thinks my grey step-over Como 4 is a pink low entry Como 3.0 with a different serial # and there was no way to change it. Is there any way to fix this? When I was...

How fast should the battery drain while not in use?

Just got my new Como 4.0 yesterday. Battery came fairly close to drained (about 12 percent). Charged it last night, did my first ride this morning. It started at 100%. It was at 94% when I finished (and had just barely turned from 95% as I stopped) and turned it off this morning. This evening I...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Thanks. I was aware of the specs (the the exact torque quoted on the 1.2 and 1.2e seem to vary by source), just curious whether the "tune" was entirely software or if there was any physical differences in the motor.

So is the 1.2e motor really exactly the same 1.2 motor hardware just with firmware suppression?

Why does it seem Vado owners are getting KINEKT 2.1 vs Redshift Seat Post ?

Are you getting something new or not sticking with a suspension seatpost?

Why does it seem Vado owners are getting KINEKT 2.1 vs Redshift Seat Post ?

Does anyone know if either the Kinekt or the Redshift can work with Turbos that have the LED taillight mounted to the underside of the saddle? The LBS where I got my Como 4.0 that is configured this way has done the Thudbuster this with this configuration, apparently drilling a small hole for...

Help me pick which Specialized Turbo to get -- thanks!

For the record, as of this evening I am a Como 4.0 owner. It's interesting -- I visited several shops test riding different model Turbos and the shop owners/employees all like the Comos and in at least one case that that's their personal bike. Seems similar to Charlie from ElectriCityBikes in...

    2 Months, 1,000 miles Vado 5.0 Report

You already plan to replace it after 4-5K miles and have been averaging 500 miles a month? Based on your statement about winter coming that implies you can't ride during it where you live, that would still mean only a year or so of use before you get your next bike. I guess if you have...

Rear Rack options for the Turbo?

On Specialized's website, they show a picture of a rear rack that has an integrated LED taillight. Oddly, it's the cover photo for the page where they sell all the "Extras" accessories, but they don't actually list it as a product you can buy. I believe it's the same rack by the looks of it that...

Help me pick which Specialized Turbo to get -- thanks!

Yep. I decided I was placing too much importance on the weight of the SL which was it's only (albeit major) "pro" on my personal list, both for transport and ability to ride without battery. Everything else is cons compared to the other models -- thinner tires, harsher ride, smaller...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

It is interesting if the Como is Class 1 and the Vado Class 3 with the same motor. Does that mean they are software-suppressing its capacity on the Como 3.0?
