What do you HATE about your fat tires?

Anyway, carry on with all the praise. I'm probably going to abandon this thread. I don't have so much time to sift through the long responses and essays and photo albums of scenery hoping to see something on-topic response I'll check what comes next and decide whether i want to be interested in...

What do you HATE about your fat tires?

When your tire goes flat on a busy, city street, and the sidewalks are full of people walking by, that's not the place i would choose to start pulling apart my bike. I would rather be able to at least push my bike with my saddlebag of tools etc to a quiet area so i can flip it over and take it...

So, that's what you hate about fat tires? "Now, i see" said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw.

What do you HATE about your fat tires?

Yea, but, no one is forcing people to reply. I am wondering if others feel the same way as i do about fat tires, and WHY. It could be the brand of tire i need to change. How can i find out when everyone is simply ignoring the question asked and responding with praise and photos of their fat...

What do you HATE about your fat tires?

Hmm. Interesting. I asked what do people HATE about their fat tires, and almost every reply is praising fat bikes and fat tires with photos and long stories about their love for their fat bikes. It, kind of, makes me not want to read any of the replies to my question. What would happen if i now...

What do you HATE about your fat tires?

I bought my Banana Boss e-bike only because it has a long seat like a motorcycle seat AND because i am able to attach a bike trailer to where the passenger foot posts are located. I remove one foot post and screw in my trailer. I couldn't see any fat bikes that were able to take my trailer. I...

Fat tire that does get flats?

Ooh i don't like my fat tires, at all. I use 20x4 Kenda Crusade Sport. I don't think they last very long. It seems as soon as the knobby parts wear down, you're going to get flats. I let my tire wear down and was riding around on a bald tire and i went over a patch of broken glass and that was...

Oh, no, What did i do? I oiled my pedal assist sensors.

This issue has been resolved. Quite a learning experience, indeed. Thank you, to all. I thought i'd have to go the shop and pay to have this issue fixed. Phew!

Oh, no, What did i do? I oiled my pedal assist sensors.

I said nothing happened to the sensor which is rigidly in place and does not move. I appreciate all the help rtp, believe me, please. Sometimes in forums, the same question gets repeated and so the same answer keeps coming. Uma's suggestion fixed it 100%.

I don't understand how this forum works. The quote function seems off.

Oh, no, What did i do? I oiled my pedal assist sensors.

It's fixed now. The magnet wheel moved too far away from the sensor.

Oh, no, What did i do? I oiled my pedal assist sensors.

Yes, this fixed it. Thank you so much. Should i move the magnet wheel back and forth enough so i can take a Q-tip to remove whatever oil is there, in case it slips again?

Oh, no, What did i do? I oiled my pedal assist sensors.

This DYAD bike company...i am not so sure about. Ohhhhh. i just did what you said and the magnet wheel moved. I moved it closer to the sensor. Wow. It WORKS. I am SO grateful for that. Thank you! Thank you. Thank you!

Oh, no, What did i do? I oiled my pedal assist sensors.

I just measured it. It's 12 mm away from the magnet wheel. Geez, i dunno. Nothing banged the bike overnight as it sat in front of my apartment door, unless my janitor did something to my bike. But why that and why then (such a coincidence after i just oiled the sensors). Did you see the pics of...
