Creo SL Road E-Bike Rental - Portugal

Hello, I am considering joining a group of fit riders for a 10 day tour of Portugal next year that will include long days and a couple of days of 7,000 ft/ 60 +mile rides. I am fit enough at age 67 but can't ride hills with this group. The ride is supported and I have two range extenders I...

Using Two Range Extenders on One Ride - best practice? Specialized Creo SL

Took a look at two 70 mile rides to the same destination, one ridden solo, the other in a five person paceline. 20 mph avg on both rides. Power use solo =5.27 Wh/mi; Paceline = 4.5 Wh/mi. Range extender used on both rides. Pays to ride with buddies!

Considering buying a Turbo Creo - Questions

@PassoGavia Go get that bike - you won't be sorry. It is just plain fun to ride. Hills can be easy or a sufferfest - you get to choose. Also, I recommend the extended battery so that you don't have range anxiety on longer/steeper rides. Be sure to get the remote buttons to control the power...

Considering buying a Turbo Creo - Questions

@PassoGavia You will be able to both stay in the paceline and pull at 25 mph with the Creo. They'll be asking you to pull!

    Creo SL carbon paint job

I have the same model/color/year. Looks like they neglected to paint the top half of the top tube. Mine is glossy black on the top, rendering the tube two-tone.

Using Two Range Extenders on One Ride - best practice? Specialized Creo SL

@Nubnub, thanks for the great advice! I expected that I would need to change the RE before the first short climb just after 20 miles, but it seemed that I could go further on it, so I did. That was an illusion. I had elected to set Mission Control to deplete the range extenders first. However...

Using Two Range Extenders on One Ride - best practice? Specialized Creo SL

Hello all, I am planning a ride of 80 miles and 3,000 feet of climbing and plan to use a good amount of Sport mode due to the "need for speed." I have two range extenders to bring with me and one will of course be connected when I start. The other occupies the downtube water bottle cage until...

Firmware Update and Mission Control Problems...

Hello Sunshine2021, yes, I had the same experience (just today) after a ride where auto start did not "auto-start." It didn't start at all. However, I did start, and the ride was fun.

Specialized Creo (all models) - Longest Rides/Biggest Climbs

@jodi2 - the range extender is the additional 160w battery that fits in your bottle holder and extends range approx 40 miles, or so.

Specialized Creo (all models) - Longest Rides/Biggest Climbs

Hello, I have a Creo SL carbon and am really enjoying the rides. I'm wondering how it is performing for others - what is your longest ride or biggest climb and did you use the range extender? Plus, avg speed and how many WH did you use? I'll start with my ride yesterday - gravel, 51 miles, 2300...

    Range anxiety :)

Regarding bike weight, I ride a Creo SL with two full water bottles and 170lb me. I was in a group ride for 30 miles/1000 feet of hills without using any power, just to see what it would be like and rode the rest of the ride in sport/turbo. Without power, it was like a normal bike that rode well...

    Range anxiety :)

Hello Sunshine2021, what kind of ebike do you ride? I ride a Creo and it has plenty of range on the Eco level and of course, less range as you increase power. Eco gives you a nice push (akin to being in the draft of a rider) and likely is all you need in most situations. However, when you find...

    Cannot believe the price increase

Gotta jump in here. Of course, to each his and her own. Nobody is forced to buy a Creo. Here's my story: I rode a local 4,200' climb on my regular bike and it was a heck of a lot of work getting to the top, even though my regular bike is around 17lbs, a good bike, and I am in decent shape for 65...

    Power Pedals on Creo?

@NBS, Interesting about the discrepancy in power readout from Quark to Creo. How did you get the Creo power to show on your Garmin?

    Power Pedals on Creo?

Blevo looks great in terms of the data it preserves, but for training purposes it would be great to have real time rider watt output so you can train to that. With Blevo you could see that data on your smartphone, but is it possible to see this data (real-time rider watt output) on the Garmin...

    Power Pedals on Creo?

I have read that the Creo can output both bike power and rider power. Likely, you're more interested in rider power as the measure of your effort for training purposes, like you see in the Peleton data. However, I have not yet seen a clear way to get the Creo to display/record power data on a...

Creo SL Comp Carbon EVO Vs SL Expert

@wmason, more photos would be appreciated. I am another reader of this site, and am considering whether to go with the Creo SL Comp Carbon or the Creo SL Expert. Also, if any readers have ridden both, is there a difference you can feel between these bikes? Also, is the weight difference/DI2...
