For Women to Read: Saddle for pelvic floor prolapse.....

Hi ladies, I have 3rd degree pelvic floor prolapse from giving birth to 5 children. I own a Ride1Up 700 ST ebike with a Selle Royal Freeway saddle (stock). When I ride, my bottom and tail bone and everything else in that area aches, burns and feels like my bones and muscles are being tortured...

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

The clamp is the one that came with the bike and works just fine with the stock Velo plush seat that also came with the bike. The rails on this new C9 seat are just a tad too far apart and I dunno how to bring them in together to make this work. I don't have a vise grip or any sort of good...

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

The C9 seat came with that clamp. But it doesn't work for the post the bike came with, unless I am missing something. 🤷‍♂️

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

Guys, I am tightening it as much as humanely possible with what I have and it still won't budge. It seems too close to fitting to have to buy a new seat or a new seat post. What else can I do here?

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

Yep, used them. Twice, actually. Even they couldn't figure out the kickstand hitting, the brake or the cassette noise. She actually suggested I get a new wheel or a new bike sent to me. When I told that to Kevin and R1U support, instead they just keep trying to walk me through fixes, even...

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

I have nothing but a hammer, a few screwdrivers, a couple of wrenches and maybe a pair of small pliers. I am asking around if anyone has something useful I can borrow. Plus the bikes still don't even ride right and I am trying to fix that as well (brake and cassette issue, maybe even chain)...

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

Ok, I will try the suggestions (minus the vise). Wish me luck!

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

No, no vise. Just basic tools layin around. I just don't understand this. Soo many others have the same seat, and on the same bike too. My luck with this bike in general has not been great. But I'll keep trying.

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

No, no vise. I barely have any tools as it is. Just the basics sitting around. I will try the narrow end and pull the rails inward as you suggested. But how do I 'pull' the rails in when they don't move at all? There is no flex, zero, nada. I see sooooo many have the C9 seats on their bikes...

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

I will try that, but I don't see how it will work as the rails are quite wider than the clamp. I can only get one side of the clamp in, the other sits on the outside of the rail. There is no way for me to pull it over as there is no give. It feels Superman proof. 😏

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

I tried for an hour maybe. No luck. There is no give whatsoever. 😒

    C9 Saddle Rails Too Wide.....

Hi all, While still working on our Ride1UP 700 ST's brake and cassette issue, I decided to step back for a moment and install some accessories we bought. I tried installing the C9 saddles, but the rails are too wide for the seat post clamp. The rails are steel and will not budge. What do I do...

Rode our first ebikes/May need to cancel R1U

Hi. Well, the bikes are still not fixed, as in they still make sounds, shift weird, etc. So we haven't got to ride much yet for her to REALLY get a good idea. I am following Kevin and Ryan's (from the R1U support team) guidelines to get them up to par, so we'll see. But I can tell you that so...

Rode our first ebikes/May need to cancel R1U

I appreciate all the input. Really. And yes, my GF fits well on the bike, thankfully. She agrees that she'll move the seat up slightly once she's fully comfy. Anyway, the sounds are horrid. I've never heard a bike/ebike sound like this. People walking down the street last night could hear them...

Rode our first ebikes/May need to cancel R1U

Thanks. Yes, it definitely still sounds like the brakes are rubbing. But a Velofix tech was here yesterday and she trued the wheels/spokes, aligned the brake calipers so they weren't rubbing, made some gear adjustments and did a 35 point inspection of the whole bike. She said all was good after...

Rode our first ebikes/May need to cancel R1U

Hi, Sorry. I've been off here for a bit. Yes, we received our R1Up 700 ST's a week ago. I assembled them myself. Not too, too bad. However, my bike makes some crazy noises. I thought it was just the brakes, but now it seems to be even more of an issue. I had Velofix come out and take a look...
