Guys who ride step through bikes...

Wow, people feel insulted by a nonsense brand name on your top bag? I don't think that's insulting and would just ignore it. Those people you talked to about that are too overly sensitive. I would have not covered it up. It's very mild compared to what's out there. How would they like...

    Yamaha Leaving US Market

They're also not coming through with their promotion deal to give a free battery when you register a recently purchased ebike within a given time frame. https://forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/open-letter-to-yamaha-re-2nd-battery-promo-please-sign.56943/

    Yamaha Exiting US E-Bike Market

Yeah, apparently the phrase "while supplies last" was mentioned some places. I don't know of any response to the open letter, and when I clicked on the form in the other thread, it said, "Thanks for all the responses. The form is now closed. See the original postings for updates."

    Yamaha Exiting US E-Bike Market

Wow, just heard they aren't honoring the free battery promotion and now this. Purchasing a Yamaha e-bike is my biggest regret.

Open letter to Yamaha re: 2nd battery promo (please sign)

Wow, just saw this. It looks like all bad news for Yamaha. I thought this was a good deal and now regret my purchase.

Standover height on Yamaha crosscore RC

I have 32" inseam and have about 2 inches of clearance on the standover with the medium frame CrossCore. I can crouch down a couple inches before I'm actually sitting on the bar. So, I don't have complaints about that. If I had been able to test one in advance, I would have ordered a large...

Standover height on Yamaha crosscore RC

I kept my same standard traditional conventional non-motorized bicycles since 2007, so 5 years is a short amount of time. The first ebike is from March 2020, which is my main bike, so it will be 5 years old in the spring. And it's a basic cadence sensor hub motor bike. I wouldn't have bought...

    Cross Core + RedShift Stem

I just received a new Yamaha CrossCore RC from a dealer. Handlebars are a little low and close for me. Will the Redshift stem (30°/100mm) work on the current model CrossCore without having to change any cables?

Standover height on Yamaha crosscore RC

I'm 5'11" without shoes and 32" inseam. I bought the medium CrossCore and adjusted the seat high to get decent leg extension. The MEDIUM frame is too small! The handlebars are too close and low. Standover height is not a problem. I have about 2 inches clearance. My only chance of keeping...

    Power cut off on 700

Battery? Controller? I've never had that happen to my 2 year old 700. Would not be happy, though.

Prodigy st or aventon pace 500.3

If you want a better workout on your cadence sensor bike, use a lower assist. With my Ride1Up 700 series, I can set the PAS assist levels to the exact percentage of power that I want. My lowest level is set for 50 watts, which gives me a great workout by just understanding how to use the PAS...

How much do the lightest e-bikes weigh?

That's the first one I thought of. I have a different Ride1Up that is much heavier. No regrets.

shifting down under strain on Prodigy

    I think that's 3 "peddle" pressures. lol

    Hub, mid, torque sensor

No, but the LMTD and Prodigy do.

    Hub, mid, torque sensor

I have a hub drive cadence sensor bike, and that doesn't describe how it operates at all. Assist levels are not tied to mph, either, but rather an adjustable power output, which doesn't have to be 100%. Heck, I can set that as low as 1%! I really like how Ride1Up allows you to customize...

Known Issues & Problems with Ride1Up Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

It is on all the LMT'D bikes being sold now. But that was not the case when I made that post MONTHS AGO last spring! It took them a while to get all of the cadence sensor models sold.

Commuter Ebike for heavy rider (ended up choosing RR(Ride1UP Prodigy ST)

    It's not Rad1up or Rid1up. It's Ride1Up.

Suspension seat post for ride1up 700 series

I bought a Suntour NCX suspension seat post - 350 mm in length. I chose it because it wasn't just a straight springed post and had good reviewed, plus it was lower cost than some other recommended ones at about $71. I also bought a shim so that I could buy a more narrow post to potentially use...

    Prodigy and low pedal cadence

You didn't state which Prodigy model, and that makes a difference. The ST and XR models have a larger chainring than the XC. So, it sounds like you would prefer the lower cadence possible with the ST and XR models.

    Help with Allant +7 Accessories

Every time I see a thread with Allant in the title, I think of Dallant. But he hasn't posted here since October 2021. It was mentioned in a thread a while back, but I don't think anyone knows his status. 😟
