I bought a BBB (BHS-29-BK-130). Fits ok but cables are too tight/short to fully extend it. Still gave me a little more height though....

It’s almost impossible to find anywhere on the bike that it fits - my insurance company had a list of approved locks and the one I bought has to go in a backpack!

It has a cadence sensor - so being in the “correct” gear is essential. Get it wrong and it’s almost impossible to get moving - it just becomes a 25kg lump! Takes some practice but once you suss it out you’ll be fine.

Are you running a GPS (or app)? If not, the speed showing on the display isn’t accurate - 7/8kmh fast at least... bear that in mind when comparing!

I carry a bottle everywhere I go - have no interest in repairing in the field!! Especially the rear which will be a challenge at home, in a garage with a stand and tools!!

It arrived the other day - VERY easy install. Sadly it’s not very bright - probably ok for riding on lit roads and paths but my night time route has lots of unlit stretches and I will still need my 1000 lumens on the bar!!

Just double checked and mine has a threaded hole on the back of the fork! Very odd! Thanks for the reply.

Hmmm. I'm not even going to ask why it's "better" - unless you're a qualified expert and want to talk me through the engineering and science. It's a matter of personal choice - I chose the Suntour.

After a couple of 20k rides my back is wrecked! Did some research and today have ordered a Suntour SP-12 suspension post. $120 on Amazon AU. Hopefully this will restore some of the enjoyment to my rides! Has anyone else upgraded? Or the forks (which are very basic).
