I just bought a Como 3 and wanted to insure it. I got a lot of quotes (including Velosurance) but circled back to my local agent assuming she'd be able to help but might be slightly more expensive. She was able to write it into my existing coverage with no deductible for less than $50 a year...

So after seeing that the cost of shipping and the price of a Velcro closed sleeve was close to 60 bucks, I decided to buy the materials to DIY it from amazon sold components. Turns out you can buy high quality scuba neoprene online for really cheap ($10-$15 for a wide yard). I plan to report back!

I didn't like the vado geometry as much but it depends on how you feel. I'm short in the torso and it made me feel like I was riding in an odd position. They both feel very solid and well-made, though. Saw the trek verve and it wasn't for me. Also, they didn't have the frame that would fit...

I think it's just a standard adjustable bontrager rack. It's fit every bike I've put it on thus far.

Thanks for this! I think my rack might work. I have extra hardware but I think the shop can put the rack on for me anyhow since they're doing a couple of other things for me. So I would assume they'd have the hardware. I did plan to put on fenders.

Are there any of these for a specialized model? Planning on purchasing the Como Turbo 3. It's dawned on me I might need this but my baby will be parked securely in a heated room while I'm at work and then at home in my bedroom when I'm home. It still may be good for peace of mind, though.
