ET Cycles T-1000 Tire fitting issue

So far so good. I run it with a tube. I would imagine tubeless would be a challenge and where you would find leaking issues. I only have 200 kms on it, mostly trails. I really like it so far and wouldn't mind putting one on my front wheel as well, but hard to justify for the cost. I've...

I found the Bontranger Rougarou works well and you can actually find it in stock here. https://www.primeauvelo.com/en_ca/rougarou-tlr-tire-26-0024281

ET Cycles T-1000 Tire fitting issue

Happy to report the Rougarou's do work for the T-1000. You can even leave the fender on if you wish. Pretty pricey solution at $159 +tx Cdn, but a solution nonetheless. Took them for a good spin on some muddy trails and they performed well. Time will tell how well they hold up. Here's a...

ET Cycles T-1000 Tire fitting issue

Hey Dirtbikerick, I'll know tomorrow! I just received the tire and installation will be attempted in the morning. I'm sure hoping that they will work. They do look smaller than the chunky Chao Yang's I was originally trying to put on, so I'm cautiously optimist. I'll keep you posted.

How many miles do you have on your ebike?

Just over 15,000 kms on an Amego Infinite since June 2019. The only issue I've had was a cracked rear rim that needed to be replaced.

ET Cycles T-1000 Tire fitting issue

My pleasure. I'll let you know how they work out. I've heard it mentioned somewhere on the forum about the continuation of the motor. I noticed it too, but it hasn't been enough to bother me. I've sort of learned to compensate for it.

ET Cycles T-1000 Tire fitting issue

Yeah....I saw this. I contemplated the Kenda's but I would like to try and keep the fender on. I pulled the pin on the Bontranger Rougarou's at 26 x 3.8. Hoping the size is true and they work. If they don't work that well, I think the Kenda Krusade and Juggernauts will work without the...

I'm thinking of the Kenda Krusades as well.

ET Cycles T-1000 Tire fitting issue

No Luck yet. I put the knobby on the front and kept the stock tire on the rear for now. Thinking the Panaracer Fat B Nimble or the Bontranger Rougarou might work.

    ET Cycle T720/T1000 owners

I've had a T-1000 for a month now. At about 975 kms. It's a very good bike for the money. The battery alone is worth $1500. This uses the same step through frame from NCM, Amego, Magnum. If you have one these other bikes, the battery is compatible with them as well. It's not a heavy duty...

ET Cycles T-1000 Tire fitting issue

For anyone that has a T-1000 or T-720 might want to be careful if you are looking to replace the tires. I tried to upgrade to a generic knobby 26x4 and it wouldn't clear the back of the frame. I'm hoping a 26x3.8 will work but choices are limited. Ideally you would use a 26x3.5, but those in...

These are the same frames. Same company, just another brand.

    ET Cycle T1000

This is basically a rebranded NCM / Magnum / Amego Step through frame with Fat bike components. I'm' good with that as my Amego has served me well and will likely continue to for quite awhile. The Fork is adjustable and better than norm. The grips look nice but aren't that comfortable. Will...

    ET Cycle T1000

I don't know exactly what size the spokes are but the rear spokes are thicker. My guess would be 13 on the rear.

    ET Cycle T1000

The Das-Kit motors are very reliable. I have 15,000 kms on my first ebike. with a Das-Kit. Still going strong. No problems whatsoever. They are German made or at least German designed and probably manufactured in China. Magnum, Amego, NCM all use them. I actually just got the T-1000. Took...

Just Ordered a ET Cycle T1000 - Hope its Good!

I figure the massive battery which is interchangeable with my other e-bike makes it a worthwhile risk. Love to hear from anyone else who has had a chance to ride this beast.

    Amego Infinite Long Term Review

Hello fellow E-biker's. For anyone interested in the Amego Infinite, here is my review based on long-term use. I purchased my Amego Infinite Step-over 27.5" on June 2019. I've had the opportunity to put 11,300 kms on it since then. Mostly recreational and a little bit of commuting. It is my...

    Can I Trust DLG Batteries?

P.S. The spare battery from Leon's was $399 Cdn so a way better deal than Amego.

    Can I Trust DLG Batteries?

I have two Dehawk batteries and have had no problems. One that came with my Amego and one I purchased afterwards from Leon Cycles in Seattle. Both are 624 W and get me anywhere from 50 to 80 kms using the higher assist levels.

More or less gears on a Hub drive MTB

Hey Court, Hoping you could give me your take on the benefit of more or less gears on a few hub drive MTB's you have reviewed. Is it more beneficial to have the 24 gears (3x8 ) of a NCM Moscow Plus or similar as compared to the 7 or 8 gears on a Volt Bike Outback or similar. One would think...
