    Upgrade Yukon 750 Light?

Thank you mbouck for your data. I finally put on a Spaninga double led light rated at 60 Lux which is pretty decent for most biking situations. It pulls 3.2 watts and so far has not created any issues. Now that the days are getting a bit shorter, I have finally had a chance to use it for...

Alternate Cassette for Yukon 750 (2019 Model)

Just a quick update on my upgrade as described above. I put the 14-34T Shimano cassette on a few weeks ago and all is working fine. I kept the original chain and it shifts with ease and has not created any problems. That 34T gear really gives the bike some climbing power!

    Spanninga lights

Good, I'm glad that I'm not the only one concerned about pulling too much current through that little unknown Chinese circuit board. I was afraid that maybe I was being too paranoid about that issue. I would hope that one could pull at least a full amp through it without any problems, but that...

    Electric Bike Lights

I have a Voltbike Yukon 750 which is a 48VDC system and controls the lights through the display. It came with a Spanninga Kendo+ (a whopping 30 Lux). Unless I missed it in this thread, I did not see any mention of current limitations of controllers that supply the lighting system. I would love...

    Spanninga lights

I'm glad I stumbled onto your thread as I just posted a very similar thread on the Voltbike forum. I have a Voltbike Yukon 750 that also came with a Kendo+ and agree with you that 30 Lux is not enough light to be effective on unlit streets. This whole issue regarding controller specifications...

    Upgrade Yukon 750 Light?

I was wondering if anybody has upgraded the front light on their Yukon? I measured the power goin to the stock light and it is providing 50 VDC at 24 mA (or 1.2 Watts). I see that a number of the more robust lights out on the market can demand up to 7.5 watts of power. I am a bit concerned that...

Alternate Cassette for Yukon 750 (2019 Model)

Thank you Calicoskies! I do not have a Facebook account so I never would have found this. It certainly describes the issue and the solution very clearly. It looks like the bike will be on the stand tomorrow morning getting a gear upgrade. Thank you again for the answer. Happy cycling!

Alternate Cassette for Yukon 750 (2019 Model)

I ordered a Shimano MF-TZ31 cassette and the Park tool FR-1.3 on Amazon last week to increase the rear set of gears to 14-34T for mountain climbing. I had the Yukon on the stand today and removed the rear wheel. That was when the problems started. I quickly realized that the motor connector was...

    Yukon 750 Limited Feedback Wanted

I just received my Yukon 750 Limited about three weeks ago and am loving it. Despite the two flat tubes (not any fault of the bicycle) I have put 300 miles on it and all systems continue to work as advertised. It is very hilly here in Nevada and the 750 watt system has conquered even the...
