    Bike To Bike Communication

@TMH, Thank you so much for your detailed and very helpful review. I have been waiting for and chasing the EVOS daily since spring which has been very frustrating as the biking season rolls by and we don't have the helmets to use. One is finally being delivered today but it is useless without...

    Bike To Bike Communication

Alan, thank you so much for posting this. I too have been waiting for them to show as available, either on the Sena store or on Amazon because I am ready to order and excited to get and use them. Until recently the R1 non-Evo have been available on Amazon but I decided to wait for the Evo with...

Add "Drive Type" (Mid vs Hub) to Advanced Search?

Court, thank you so much for your truly awesome website and reviews! With so many bikes and choices, the Advanced Search is incredibly powerful and helpful. Is there any chance that Drive type (Mid vs Hub) could be added to this? Again, thank you so much!

    Bike To Bike Communication

Hi! Anyone have any updates besides what is posted here on bike-to-bike intercoms/communicators? Terrano is offering 25% off and I was thinking about pulling the trigger on them to just add to existing helmets and reviews are good but in reading but in the reading the comments here, I am now...

Thule Easyfold XT2 - A good rack for ebikes and the best one if you have fenders

I didn't realize that you are in TC...small world!!! Sorry, re-reading your original post, I missed that your wife being able to load the bike herself would be key. Ebikes are not light, especially RadCity bikes, and the Easy Fold is the only one with a ramp, so I think there is your answer...

Thule Easyfold XT2 - A good rack for ebikes and the best one if you have fenders

I do not have Rad City bikes but I do have e-bikes with fenders including a step through and did a lot of research. I ended getting the Easy Fold because it seemed so well-designed and was so easy to store in the car overnight when traveling or in the garage, along with the ramp, and other...

Looking for feedback on 2020 Como 4.0

Nice bike!!! I did a lot of research, rode one, and decided that it is the bike for us, so we have 2 on order. Based on posts on the forum, I will be ordering the Bush and Muller 701 mirror instead of the more common and still good Mirrycle. The 701 offers a bigger, better view and swing-away...

Recommendations for Basket for Rear Rack

I don't have any personal experience with the Bushwacker, but based on June 17, 2019 Amazon review, be careful about riding with them empty...reviewer says empty one bounced into spokes.

    Specialized Turbo Como 3.0

GSD Dad and Mutiny Guy, That is a nice rack. Do you have 2" hitches on your vehicles?

Thank you Kathik. This additional information is very helpful.

Thule Easyfold XT2 - A good rack for ebikes and the best one if you have fenders

Thank you Kathik for sharing your insights. On the Easyfold, I understand why you would not be happy that the clamp is loosening. Why do you think that is happening? Are you tighening it until it clicks? The rack comes with 2 clamps. Have you tried the other clamp to see if perhaps the first...

Thule Easyfold XT2 - A good rack for ebikes and the best one if you have fenders

Thanks Bonefish, Alaskan, and Gadgetnut for your helpful comments. I don't have a rack yet, but I have been researching racks pretty intensely and think that I am coming to the same conclusion. It just seems incredibly well designed in so many different ways. First of all, since I will have...

Thule Easyfold XT2 - A good rack for ebikes and the best one if you have fenders

Yes, I agree and in fairness to Thule, I checked on another manufacturer's rack, which is very heavy duty, with locking hooks which appear to be all metal, but they are the same....parts of the hook assembly are plastic, so Thule appears to be no different, at least in this case.

Thule Easyfold XT2 - A good rack for ebikes and the best one if you have fenders

Thanks Alaskan. Totally agree on the skill saw but it is the screwdriver or hammer that I think most of us are concerned about. A reviewer on Amazon and REI posted this pic of the plastic part of the arm that "broke like it was glass" when he "bumped" it when unboxing and made me wonder if a...

Thule Easyfold XT2 - A good rack for ebikes and the best one if you have fenders

Alaskan, thank you very much for this and for your many helpful posts. The locking mechanism is one of my criteria and while I know that nothing can deter a determined thief, could this locking mechanism be easily defeated simply by breaking the plastic clamp that attaches to the hitch U tube...

Comparing Gear Ratios: Nexus 8 vs Specialized Como 4.0?

Hi, I am trying to compare gear ratios of a Nexus 8 vs a Specialized Como 4.0. However, I can't even get to the comparison because I am confused about the stated gear ratios of the Nexus 8. Normally, a higher gear would have a lower ratio, ie, 10th gear is 0.22 vs 1st gear is .75, correct...

Obscured car plate issue with bike racks

Over50, thank you for this. We too are in Michigan and have been concerned about this problem without a solution until this law was changed in 2018 in Michigan. As I am thanking you for sharing this, I also emailed the sponsoring legislator to thank her. Other states would do well to follow...
