Well... since my local shop sent off for two wires to fix this broken ST1 (no_Comm error) and installed them...nothing changed...so now they are ordering me a whole new motor and wheel again....this will be the third new motor since buying this e-bike. ....lucky for me its still under warranty...

I wouldn't buy a Stromer again unless you paid me or have countless time on your hands to wait for parts. I am on my fourth week waiting for two wires that may hopefully fix my Stromer st1 so it will actually work.. Maybe in Europe things are different and they have a good avenue of suppliers...

I am going through E Life Cycles shop in Folsom Ca with my Stromer st1 still barely under warranty even though it was bought from CrazyLenny's in WI. Its going on 2 months now and they haven't fixed it right or yet....talk about ultimate frustration. Only one shop in all of Sacramento fixes...

Thank you for the advice but I've tried that at least 3 times unplugging all connectors inside battery door and replugging them back in....and still no fix... :-(

Today I took my 2016 izip pro tour out for a spin..had so much fun until it suddenly just quit on me on assist level 4 with 3 bars showing still showing on battery left. Any ideas why it would just quit on me with 3 bars showing? Thanks for any help or information you can share with me.

I think I would buy finishline's new water-based sealant. It won't dry up and lasts the life of the tube & tire. Slime is good also but tends to plug up the valve core many times when you go to inflate tire.

My Magnum Peak is solid also but it lacks a torque sensor which would be so much nicer than the cadence sensor that comes on it. I also believe they shouldn't advertise it as a 28 mph e-bike which it surely is not. The best speed I have gotten out of it so far is 25mph still not bad but no 28...
