    Using rollers with an e-bike?

Wonder if going 29 mph the bike will fly off the rollers and slam me into the wall. But racers use them for winter training and they pass 30 without assist...

    Using rollers with an e-bike?

It's getting too cold in Boston. Has anyone ridden on training rollers, or is it too dumb to think about? I can pull out my rusty clunker, but I Love my ebike...

    42t versus 48t Vado 3.0

I just had the Praxis 48T 104bc chainwheel and bash guard, as well as a new chain installed on my Vado 3 by my LBS for a total cost of $150. (I was unable to push the bike over 22 MPH, and was always riding in the top 3 gears.) The default chain had 120 links, the new KMC x10e chain had 136...

Specialized Turbo Vado 3,0 - On/off button wont work..

you should be able to take it to a Specialized dealer in another town since the warranty is with the company, not the dead bike store. there are 17 dealers in Norway. https://www.specialized.com/no/en/store-finder

Buying an Abus Lock using a Key Code

Received the bordo 6405 key-alike today in time for a ride tomorrow with a lockup halfway. It came with either a waterbottle mount or a solid plastic strap secured by screws, but did not include velcro straps. But Boy is it heavy!

    bicycle carrier for Turbo Vado?

Here is my DYI stand for the Thule T1. Besides the four 1' sections of 2x4 which frame a 2" by 1.5" hole, I had to rout a slot for the end screw.

    Turbo battery cover cap

There needs to be two caps, one M4Z003-000 for the female receptable on the ebike, and one for the male power cord. Because of the magnet, a staple or brad on the ground could be easily picked up and short out the whole system. I measured the power cord as .964 OD and .5 deep and will make a...

    bicycle carrier for Turbo Vado?

On the T1 my LBS instructed me: Not on the fender, but on front tire, butted up against the fender. I'd rather hold down the frame than a wheel, but all these hitch ebike carriers are wheel centric!

    bicycle carrier for Turbo Vado?

my sedan only has a 1.25" hitch so the Pro XT won't work. How do you feel about the way these carriers basically grip the front wheel (and tie down the rear) instead of holding the frame?

Buying an Abus Lock using a Key Code

same TV3 key deal. i tried two LBS's who had no idea what i was talking about. So I called the US Abus branch in chicago, and learned the "plus" is not the "X plus" key and there is a non-advertised product called the Bordo 6405 which uses the "plus" key, and that the dealer had to make the...

Vado 3.0: Worn out cassette after 450 miles

I complained to my LBS that I was only riding my TV3 in the top 3 gears and could not spin fast enough to hit the 28MPH limit and asked for a 48T chainwheel upgrade. They said a firmware upgrade would fix it.

    bicycle carrier for Turbo Vado?

Thanks Volts. My XL Turbo Vado's rear wheel is centered with the slider about an inch from the "stop screw". I suppose that Thule could easily sell a 6 inch extension bar for XXL bikes.

    A Question for Massachusetts E-Bikers

A new ebike owner, i am interested anyone who has done research into the MA laws. the paths say "no motorized vehicles" and don't have any speed limits. IMO they need to say "no throttled motors, and a 15 or 20mph speed limit" which would allow pedal assist bikes, but keep off those pesky new...

    bicycle carrier for Turbo Vado?

Thanks EbikeMom. The T1 is a very nice carrier indeed, tho I hate IKEA-like international picture instructions. The hitch pin lock is very awkward. And it takes up too much room in the garage, so I had to build a stand out of four 1 foot pieces of 2x4 with a 1.75x2" hole.

    bicycle carrier for Turbo Vado?

Thanks Volts. I picked up the T1 from my LBS, who matched the $50 discount I stumbled upon at https://www.stoorz.com/i/thule-t1 and outdoorplay. Uhaul installs hitch tomorrow.

    bicycle carrier for Turbo Vado?

Since it weighs 55 pounds, I can no longer use my Saris Solo. I just tried the Tyger 1 bike trunk rack, rated at 55 lbs, but the fat downtube got in the way, so I returned it. Now I am considering a Thule T1 but I will have to cut down the front fender because it clamps to the tire/fork joint...

    Vado 6 Battery install

I just got a Vado 3, took out the battery for mounting on a car rack, and when I got home, it wouldn't snap in. Called the LBS next day who said to give it a sharp slap above the power button. The first slap popped the top up half an inch, the second slap locked it in. I may not remove it again:)

    Another Bike Rack Question

I bought my ebike Sunday at a store 40 minutes away. Mounted it on my trusty $50 SARIS SOLO, and drove slowly home with my blinkers on. The SOLO is plastic and only rated for 35 lbs, but the ebike is over 50. (Yet I made it:) Now I'm looking for a new single carrier so I can drive to nice bike...

    Hello from Sudbury MA

I just started riding a Specialized Vado 3. Pretty polished machine! I can't commute because Rt 20 and Rt 117 are bicycle death traps, so I'll just be recreational riding. I don't see many ebikes around here. Anyone?
