East Motion Evo - how far will it take me for my commute?

The Evo Cross and Race both hang out at 20mph on flat ground easy. If you help it, you can do 60 miles. I do ~25 miles per day on max boost the whole way (and I pedal like a manic the whole time) and can skip days to charge. Operator, the guys at Bike Attack are nice, but I wouldn't say that...

And bring dikes and spare zip ties... because the motor wire is zip tied to the frame.

    11-speed conversion?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but does anyone know for sure if I can put a Shimano 11-speed cassette on an Evo Race?

I don't think lube would help much. It's more a matter of finding the exact right method.

    hastle removing the rear wheel

So I just watched the first video. "cute little clips?" What cute little clips? My bike had zip ties. I bet the the LBS replaced them when they installed their kickstand! Otherwise, that video was so oversimplified as to be nearly lying about the entire process. In reality, even after...

    29er charger

Here's the best I could do: http://imgur.com/mDLgGth It's a very unique connector. I couldn't find one online anywhere. It has 3 pins and a rotating lock ring.

    hastle removing the rear wheel

It's shocking how difficult it is. I scratched the paint a little bit next to the disc. The fancy spring-loaded axle nuts are almost but not quite really cool. And what's the point of that retainer plate on the non-drive side? And what's the tiny allen screw inside the axle? PIA, indeed!

My 2015 EVO Street Has Arrived!

That's true of most rechargeable battery chemistries. You will find the same thing happens with cells phones and laptops. The trick is deplete your new battery most of the way and do full deep charges. It's a kind of "conditioning" for the new battery. I'm seeing it happen now with my new bike.

    hastle removing the rear wheel

This is a bit of a PSA... if you've never removed the rear wheel on your new Evo*, you should do it once at home before you need to fix a flat on the road. Not only is the space around the disc so tight that it is about impossible not to scratch the paint, but there are zip ties that you have to...

My 2015 EVO Street Has Arrived!

Just adding my 2 cents... your sit bones will get a bit tougher. Just take it easy and you will adjust. Most of the pain you feel right now is just your body complaining about new things. Assuming the *width* of your saddle matches your sit bones, the key is to take the weight off of your...

    New Evo Race this weekend!

I just bought an Easy Motion Evo Race on Saturday, and I freaking love this thing! I've done about 30 miles so far. I have no real complaints about the bike at all. Has anyone hacked the electrical at all? I'd love to add head/tail lights to this thing. I also need to figure out how to...
