gear ratio on 20" wheels is rough, how to go about upgrading

The sinch.2 is a 20" wheel bike with a 52t chainring and a 12-32 8 speed cartridge. This gearing ratio alone offers a lot of speed on a normal bike but the smaller tires of a folding bike really take the top speed down a couple notches. I find it very hard to get to 20mph let alone exceed it...

PSA Those round handle bar mirrors for $10

The Mirracycle looks a little more difficult to use on a folding bike but I will keep it in mind, thanks.

PSA Those round handle bar mirrors for $10

Incase you were looking for mirrors for your bike and you saw those $5-$10 round mirrors that clip into the ends of your handle bars that are sold everywhere out of china, I got them for my sinch.2 because they fold up. At best it is functional. The build was OK and they fit in using a bolt that...

    Anti theft GPS

No one cares for your bike parts. They want to sell it as is as a working bike to someone for 40-400 bucks and be gone with it. Not house all your cheap accessories and try and ebay them used for 5 bucks each.

    JetCurrent Pro

When going over reviews of folding bikes I learned that motor wattage means little. Saw 500 watt hubs easily power out 750+ from cheaper bikes.

Another update with my battery shut-off problem

I don't think it's the wattage, but it drops the voltage. It wasn't a big drain on the battery but it drops the voltage which is where the controller starts imagining the battery is low on power. I mean that's the only explanation unless something actually damaged itself in the controller...

Another update with my battery shut-off problem

And old post but id like to chime in on something I discovered a while ago, the light is something awful of a power sucker. My aging battery on my crosscurrent would start cutting out at not even %50 if I had the light on. Ended up getting a nice catseye headlight.

    JetCurrent Pro

So I am having no luck figuring out a good solution to get my crosscurrent to the beach in my car (too heavy for roof rack and there might be the obscure quality class 1 hitch that cost $800) so I am now looking at the entire folding market. I took a brief look at light ebikes (light enough for...

Does Anyone have experience using a suspension seat post with a sprung saddle?

Huh... well.. long ago I went with this, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BIQN9UC/ , a piston based suspension post. It makes a big difference cause my butt was never conditioned to riding bikes. I paired it was a nice, but nothing fancy wide saddle seat that had the split gap down the...

    Cheap vs Quality Tail Lights?

I picked up a pretty average catseye one when I got my catseye front light. Has like 3 or 4 LEDs in it and I doubt anyone has any problem seeing it. It also hasn't needed a battery replacement in the year that I have had it so it is very good about not having bad stand by drain. Before that I...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

So after the full charge and sitting at 53.6 (and just minor differences under load) I again wasn't seeing any cut out issues at all. So I'll go ahead with keeping the battery topped off the next several runs as to make sure there isn't an imbalance in cells.

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

heys, I've been riding my cross current since I signed up in april 2018. I use it more of a casual work out on my days off and there have been long period of the winter (fl winter) where I have not used it. So far though aside from a thorough bike chain cleaning I have not needed to fix any...

HyperFat HF1000 - Disable Automatic Assistance? (On Demand Throttle Only for Exercising) + My Speed Limit setting isn't obeyed less than 14 MPH

Tronic, it could be because the hyperfat tire bikes are not at all ideal as workout bikes, not like the currents and other street tire bikes are. Now I recall in my l crosscurrents display unit there was many options dealing with both the torque sensor and cadence sensor. You played with those?

Almost a year and about 2k (?) miles with the CCS. A quick visit to update:

Only about 600 miles on my bike.. kind of had a hiatus during the holiday season because working retail means no free time. Broke out the bike this past weekend and everything running great still.. can't wait to get some more time in. There is a bike path within riding range that is a real treat...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Did you not just read what was said? Your motor excels in one or the other, not both. Juiced is an assist bike, the throttle was only recently added. It was never intended to be peddle-less.

    Juiced Bikes Quality Control Issues?

You can count the number of my post in it. ^^ And no, I just consider that a lot of juiced owners have made the juiced ebr forum their main forum. The issue is you are taking to issue that a thread that has so many different replies is mostly negative responses when they are not, especially...

    Juiced Bikes Quality Control Issues?

Well there's your problem. You've never been in that thread have you? Threads like these are filled with not only problems that pop up, but users posting their answers, updates on if issues have been resolved, as well as suggesting alternatives. It is essentially the "general" thread of the...

Why Juiced Should Consider Making a "Moped"

An e-bike with no pedal assist is a low range scooter that is uncomfortable to ride and cannot carry as much. Mopeds are fully shocked, padded, ask nothing of the occupant to propel it, and use petrol for reliability.

Rooster, ah were you referring to the older throttle displays that were just led lights? I thought you meant on the battery itself.
